Why Did She Lie About Her Relationship Status?

My coworker and I have been going out together, bars, dinners on days off etc. Our last night out was great, she was super flirty, calling me cute, breaking the touch barrier, and told me she has been single, clarifying to me that she was looking to start to date and hasn't dated anyone in over a year. We made plans to see eachother more often.

This is where it got weird for me. Last night, we both got off work early. On my way to my car, I heard her call out to me. She was waiting for her "sister" to pick her up, so I offered her my company. We talked for about 30 mins! Again super flirty, strong eye contact, lots of laughing. Every so often, she was texting and mentioned her sister taking extra long and being an "idiot".
Toward the end of our conversation she receives a phone call, I can hear clearly that it was another guy. She looks at me dead in the eyes and says "my sister is here, thanks for waiting with me".

I go to my car and see her get into a car with a guy in it. They drove right by me, and I could see her clearly! I gazed at the car inquisitively, confused as to why she lied to me so blatantly.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?
Is it worth pursuing her, or should I stop seeing her? I've really grown to like her over the years, so I'm confused.

It’s probably complicated. I mean clearly there’s a guy in the picture, who knows what their status is or what’s happening between them. Regardless, I’d say not to pursue, because if she’s doing this to another guy, you could easily be in his shoes. I’m sure that is a lot of headache that you’d be glad you dodged the bullet on. Besides, hooking up with coworkers never seems to end well anyway.

Clearly she wasn't honest about her "sister". A good relationship with a breech of trust is very difficult to repair. I can't imagine beginning a relationship with someone who already lied to me (no matter how big or small the lie). You should cut your losses and put your energy into a healthy relationship.
