Why do some men feel the need to lie about their relationship status when they meet a good and honest woman?

There's so many bad women out there that men growing up are inadvertently trained to deal with bad women's bullshit.

The average guy only meets a good honest woman once or twice in life, you can't expect them to know how to handle something they've probably never encountered before. Of course all their carefully-honed instincts are going to lead them astray.

It's the same as a quarterback who has a really shitty offensive line, they always bail out of the pocket because the pocket is always collapsing around them, they have no choice but to scramble. So if you take a quarterback who has played behind shitty O-lines their whole career and put them behind a really STRONG O-line, they still have the instinct to bail out of the pocket even though there's no need.

Good, honest women should be more forgiving and more understanding and realize that MOST guys are trying to overcome trust issues. It takes a long time to rebuild trust that has been abused over and over and over again. You can't expect them to be convinced of how good and honest you are because bad, dishonest girls all know how to act like a good, honest girl at first. They camouflage themselves as nice girls so they can get close to sink their fangs in.

That's also why most good women have no idea how many bad women there are out there and this kind of talk is just incredible to them, because bad girls never have any need to remove their good girl mask in front of other women. Most women think all girls are nice and good and honest and when you talk about how many evil women there are out there, they don't know what the HELL you're talking about, because they always get along with almost every woman they meet.

I understand and respect your view. I don't believe that women are all angels by the way and have seen some evil ones. The same goes for both genders tbh. I just hope that hurt people stope hurting other people. Two wrongs never make any situation right 🌹

I know that whenever you do meet someone who isn't a total piece of shit, you come away thinking, "Now why is that so hard for most people?"

And of course I know that not all men are angels either, far from it.

But I just can't help but notice that all the guys I know who I think are great guys, who I would want to date if I was a woman, guys I think would make excellent husbands and great Dads, I notice that men like that always have the worst luck with women, women won't even give them the time of day.

All the guys I see who have the best luck with women, guys who can "get any girl," guys who have women dripping off of them everywhere they go, those are always the must untrustworthy and unreliable guys you'll ever meet.

I just can't help but notice that when I see it all the time. I see women throwing themselves at guys who I wouldn't even fucking look at if I could help it, if I was a woman. It's extremely frustrating. I know so many guys who are totally depressed and have completely given up, they've given up on life and they've just retreated into a sad, lonely life and they're not even trying to find love anymore, they don't even believe in love, and they fucking hate women and think all women are just stupid whores, and these are the kind of guys I would most want to marry if I was a girl, and they can't even get a date. And some of them are bad looking, but a lot of them aren't. I know some good looking guys who have been totally turned off of women and love and romance, they don't even believe in it, and now they're just dead inside. They have nothing to live for, no reason to get up in the morning, they have a look of defeat in their eyes that never goes away. Even when they're laughing and smiling, you can see the despair in their eyes and you can see it in their posture and their bearing, like they're so fucking sad it just breaks your fucking heart. I hate this goddamned world. All the best people I know fucking wish they were dead. And me too.

Probably because they really liked you and were worried you might not see them as boyfriend material if you knew they were single, or vise versa if they were married you might think he is dishonest and untrustworthy. I personally am married and I love my wife and we have been looking for a third person for quite some time.

Sadly to say Men do it and it hurts i know how it feels
cause i had Women do it to me and i consider myself
a decent , good guy , down to earth , i stay to myself
i have always respected Women but yet i get lied to
and sometimes they do it just to get sex off of Woman
and that's all yes it hurts and i feel bad for Woman
when they are faced by these situations.

Probably don't want to deter interest by saying "I actually have a partner currently." He may cheat, and he may simply end things with who he is with. Whatever the case may be, if he does either of the aforementioned, the odds of him doing it to the "good and honest" woman is just as likely later down the road. People get replaced like car parts more times than not.

It's not just some men, it's also some women. There are cheaters and insincere/dishonest people out there, quite a few - and in the (American) mainstream the 'white lies' are perfectly acceptable, with everyone defining for themselves what constitutes 'white' (for many people it comes down to 'well I wanted that, so I lied my way to getting it' regardless of the consequences

It is not good to jump from relationship to another. We should never be in a serious relationship with someone like that. If that person gave up on the first relationship for me, that person would do the same to me.
