My old crush hates me? For no reason?

Here's the story: I had a huge crush on this guy a year ago like really really huge crush and at the time he liked me back, though somehow he started ignoring me out of the blue and I never spoke to him again for about a year. I was hurt so you get it. So after a year I spot him at a gathering ( we have mutual friends not very close though). I didn't go up and talk to him Because I thought maybe this dude never liked me so I'm not gonna bother him even though I still have

strong feelings towards him. I was chilling with my friend at the corner and suddenly he walks our way he greets my friend talks to

him looks at me and doesn't even say hi to me. Why the f would

anyone do that we used to talk last year and I even smiled at him we he came my way. Its not like I made his life miserable ...

I mean you didn't say hi to him so.

That's the problem with two shy people, the conundrum of shyness. You assume that you're being a bother or that you're being clingy or intrusive or annoying. So you wait for the other person to initiate something.

If you're both like that, nothing gets done, both of you think the other doesn't like you, when it may be possible that you both like each other.

My advice? Stop being overly sensitive, and take initiative. Else life will be full of what-if scenarios and you regretting/doubting yourself. Gain some confidence!

Oh God, I hate you for being so right -__- I couldn't say HIii .. because he kinda ignored me last year (initially though I was very sure he liked me) and as you said I didn't want to bother him (in case he doesn't like my company) ... but at least I smileeeed I was facing ready to talk and all he did was looking serious ... and when I was about to say something (I'm a coward I know) he turned his head and walked away. Kinda rude ... because I haven't done him wrong.

NOTHING! trust me .. I was madly in love with this guy and thought the feeling was mutual untill he started behaving very strange around me. The only thing one can blame me of is probably me being a tad shy and that's it OK and maybe a bit of FB stalking, just checking out his fb page nothing more. I was greeting him waving at him (desperate I know) and he didn't return those last year so I thought F it.
