Bringing it up with an excuse or blaming it on the kids your babysitting is pretty lame and he is going to know you’re lying right away. Don’t do that.


If.. and only if he brings it up, just admit you did it:
“I’m so sorry, I wasn’t really thinking and I’m so embarrassed.”
He’ll likely be a lot more understanding and it may even help break the ice a little.

You’re overthinking it. Don’t self-sabotage. He wouldn’t still be talking to you if he wasn’t at least partially interested in you. Just go about your normal conversation. For all you know he may not even have noticed that you screenshot it.
