You can try turning the conversation to relationships and perhaps subtly indicate interest. You can compliment on his appearance or things you like about him. be clean (physically and verbally) and articulate.
read up on body language and learn how to interpret it. practice reading body language by watching other people in conversations.
if you have one specific guy to target, watch what he's interested in and do some background learning. don't hang around for more than 15 or 20 minutes. if conversation gets stale or he starts looking for a way to get out, then it's over.

This question made me chuckle. So, I think it depends on if you mean "sexy" vs "trashy" or if you mean '"lirty... but not necessarily sexy" vs. "trashy".

If you are trying to be SEXY (as in, have him feel sexual arousal in response to your flirting)... but you're trying to separate that from 'trashy sexy'... I don't really think that can be done. I don't know the precise difference between the two, but... I cannot imagine what that might look like. There is a certain amount of 'trashyness' inherent in being openly sexual enough to actually arouse someone... isn't there?

This is interesting. If you somehow can separate the two, I'd actually be interested. I would argue that anything you can think of that's sexy without being trashy... won't actually end up being all that sexy (to a guy anyway).
