I’ll never forget that shit. Before 2010, so many dudes would use the excuse of “Man, thats my cousin.”  I probably should’ve worried more about why they were so touchy with their cousin as if we were in fckin Alabama. But anyways, I was naive and believed it. My first boyfriend had a “cousin” that I didn’t find out the truth about til maybe a year later. And when she started attending our school, she threatened to beat my ass if I didn’t fall back. I was thinking, girl I was with him first. You’re just a “cousin” 😭 Either way, we were both dumb af for still wanting him. And he had the nerve to tell me, “You’re wifey but I had to have my sides too.” And well that was one of our many break ups and getting back togethers. I have not and do not plan to do so in the future since dating one person exclusively is hard enough. I can't imagine juggling two and on top of that keeping their existence from each other. Sounds like an overwhelming amount of stress but looks like some people like that.

After reading your story, it seems like that guy had little to no guilty conscience due to how easy it was for them to lie to you straight to your face. Then on top of that be touchy-feely with the secret girlfriend, gross. I hope you haven't had contact with that person every again.

Thankfully, I have not had a partner or dated someone who attempted to pull some stuff like that on me. I usually scare those types away with how I tend to question people with what I deem to be sketchy behavior and not let the topic go until an unequivocal understanding has been met. I just dont need the stress and hate putting up with BS from others.

Well, no I don't plan to. But now I ain't trusting that shit either. I thought this was mostly just a returning gag in comedies mostly. Never thought it'd work in real life to act like the side chick is your cousin but I guess I can see how it would if they're that much of a socio ass. Beyond me though. I've dealt with having multiple girls trying to get me sweatin, I feel like they knew how awkward it made me sometimes, I realized my choices one day, turned me on for a hot minute to think I could get them all if I really strategized for sure. But I considered all my options and decided not to do shit about them and ignored them as much as I could. Turned my attention to the girl I had wanted for years instead. But point is if I'm having feelings for others while taken I wouldn't lie to hide that. That shit ain't sexy.

Jokes apart, I think it’s disgusting to boast a kinship with someone you rub shoulder with, only in order to trick a innocent (and a bit dumb) girlfriend.
I’d never do such thing, I think honesty is the way: if there’s uneasiness or needs, it has to be told. But absolutely this is low level cheating and it’s despicable.

My cousin turned out to be a giant swine, finally resembling how she is on the inside as well. My Nephew, we're cool. For your question, no. I never had a sidepiece and I do not plan on doing my partner that dirty. If we grow closer I will grow farther away from other people I have been seeing and as soon as we make it official, I cut out the other people.
