Hey all, so there's this guy who's my age (18) that I've been working with at a candle shop for almost two months now. When we first met, we clicked pretty well as friends and he mentioned that he had a girl he was seeing that he met at the end of the school year at a party. Fast forward, we're both now working full time and I'd say we gotten pretty close as friends. I like hanging with him, we'd play music through the speakers and dance while we're working. Up until now I kept him off my radar since he's taken but since last week I feel like I'm starting to like him. Basically our store is separated into two areas, a retail shop and then the warehouse where all our candles are manufactured. I was running the shop alone for two days straight and told him he should come hangout for a bit since it's generally empty on the weekdays and literally no customers comes in. My reasoning in the moment was I just wanted to talk to someone since it's really boring to be sitting alone for a six hour shift lol. I didn't think he would actually come but he did, twice and stayed with me for all of his lunch breaks until our boss made him go back. So the thing is, my gut is telling me that he might like me too because of the subtle things he would say, like asking what type of guy I was into and my opinion on his girlfriend, whether I think they fit each other. When I said they were cute together he said "Do you actually think that?" He's told me how they both were looking for relationships and since they went to the same school it was convenient.
Since then, I been thinking about him a lot. He was teasing me about something that day in the shop so I joked that no one was forcing him to be here and he just said "yeah you're right. No one's forcing me." Then we just kinda looked at each other and then he left. I don't think trying to get with another girl's boyfriend is cool but ugh, I think I'm starting to get a crush on him. Anyone's input would be great!
