Is PDA on the first date common?

The dates I usually go on are quite chill and we don’t usually kiss the first time. There was this guy recently who was more touchy-feely and he lightly pulled my jacket to ask where I want to go. When I said we could go for dinner he was like “are you sure” and gave me an intense smile. When I asked what was up he jokingly said he was “watching me”. At the restaurant I was a bit surprised because he engaged in PDA with me and didn’t seem to care that people were around us. After a while I asked to leave with him for a kiss in the park so people would not watch us. Is this common for guys if they have only met the girl once? We still talk online but it’s more so friendly chatting about our hobbies and courses.

Okay, I see what you're asking but in the interest of full disclosure I feel like I should give you some background information. See way back when I was a teenager I used to go to many parties and one time we all decided to drive 3 hours to the city in the middle of the night. It was a winter evening and my car broke down. It was just me and two of my friends passed out on the side of a busy highway, the main stretch into the city from that end. Well soon enough the ambulance showed up to see if we were okay, then the fire department, then the police. That was all very awkward because we were just a bunch of hungover teenagers. Then we had to walk across the city to the the relatives of one of the boys in the car and use the phone to call our other friends to drive 3 hours to come get us. That boy's mother was quite mad at me for bringing him to the city when I didn't even realize he got in my car at the party. So anyway our other friends came to get us. We had to ride back 3 hours in the back of a pick up truck. Then I had to get my dad to drive me 3 hours back to the city again so we could tow my car home. It was a very long night and I cemented a my ongoing reputation as a bad kid at that point. Anyway, so fast forward 5 years later I met a beautiful looking woman at another party and we moved in together and eventually got married. At one point I was so in love with her that I was caught on camera at a local grocery store kissing my wife on her neck and squeezing her butt in the isle at the grocery store. The store manager saw us on the grocery store cameras and he was married to a woman who I worked with at the time. That woman told everyone about our public display of affection. That was a good day, and I don't recall ever being shy about expressing public displays of affection in front of others, but then again we were drinking a lot in those days so we did whatever. I think you should kiss if you want to kiss and maybe even have sex in front of others in public if you want and there's no children around. One other time we had sex on the ground at a public beach during the day but there was nobody around. I think love is exciting and if you feel it, you should embrace it and enjoy it while it lasts. Some people may not want to see it, but others might find it uplifting and heart warming. Others may even get aroused and go home to self-pleasure, but you should never feel responsible or guilty for causing the masturbation of others, just live and let live.
