Would you call this special treatment or professionalism?

A cook at my local kebab restaurant always gets my order out to me real fast, calls me over and hands it to me then double checks it even during the dinner rush. Also, I always get an appetizer while waiting.

We've also made some flirty eye contact, but that's it. He gets a little nervous when I say hi to him now and his Co cooks always keep an eye on me.

He wasn't there when I went in last and they had me waiting there forever, never called out my order and forgot it on the shelf. Then cook passing takeout orders was kind of scolding me for not saying something.

No free appetizer or super big smile either πŸ˜”.

And it was before the rush.

Also, before about 3 or 4 of the wait staff would try to flirt with me and the cashier guy would smile. But they stopped all that.

Special treatment or just a really professional cook?
