How many are bad at reading the opposite sex's signs?

So I am horrible at reading signs from girls. I miss them all the time. Both good and bad. I have in the past not realized a girl like me or was flirting with me, I was told after "dude she was flirting with you" and I was like huh 🤷‍♂️. I also have missed signs I was bugging girls at times. How many guys and girls are the same at missing signs from the opposite sex?

I started off bad. I’d grade myself now as a C plus. I have Asperger’s, so I was born with pretty shite ability to read body language (flirting); and to correctly interpret other signs of interest or how to hit on people appropriately. Half the time I get it wrong. Other times I’m spot on. I’ll never be good at reading people. I’m just not as useless at it as I started off.

I'm absolutely oblivious to any girls being attracted to me. My exes always used to tell me how much attention I get and I just never believed them because I never saw it myself. Even my friend would say "Yo that girl's checking you out." And I'd be like, "Nah she's not man." A girl would literally have to go up to me and say she's interested in me for me to see anything.

Same in not noticing, not same in people telling me a girl was checking me out. They have to tell me too though if it happened. I have had girls flirt with me years ago at work, worked with a lot of girls when I was younger and someone would always have to point it out, I didn't always believe them either.

I notice the most minute signs but since I prefer being single. I don't act on any of them. I remember noticing a sign that lasted a fraction of a second (most guys would miss it). When I didn't act on it, the girl became really frustrated and let out this huge sigh. It made me wonder how many signs like this women expected men to notice.

Had that before some are better than that though, long time ago and a girl was just flirting for fun, she just laughed and told me it was cute how oblivious I was that she was flirting with me.

I admit I am super bad with it because my natural default setting is they don't like me, they can't like me. The only time I actually think a guy likes me is if he says something sexual. Which is completely wrong because a guy who does that doesn't actually like me either he just wants to use someone. So I have no idea how to deal with men besides as friends. My best bet is to stay away from all males forever lol.

I wouldn't say that at all to stay away from men forever. I'm sure there's plenty of guys who want you and more than sex. I can say that because I'm very similar. I don't feel like any girl wants me. They don't ever seem to notice me no matter how much I try at times. But I've also found there were girls who did have a thing for me and I totally missed it. I bet you it's happened for you too and you just never realized it.

Nah I know I missed quite a few chances in high school with guys when I think back to instances when we were hanging out. These days are pretty slow but I don't actually go out much. In 1 year only noticed 3 guys take notice of me while out and about but they didn't say anything, so I always just walk away because I don't know what to to with that lol.
