Which one do you like more - being called sexy or cute?

Question

Probably because of my confident attitude, I have been complimented about being sexy all the time,

Cute was always coming from people who knew me closer. So I heard it relatively rarely.

I was often tired of being called “sexy” and cherished being called “cute”.

I love all compliments I get.

But I I got called “You are so cute” and It made me feel very happy.

Which one makes you feel happier, out of these two: Sexy or Cute.

As far as I'm concerned, a woman can be beautiful, but if she isn't cute I'm not interested. If a woman is cute and adorable, I don't even care if she is breathtakingly beautiful.

Not that there aren't times to use the words gorgeous or beautiful. I mean, if a girl goes all out to wear makeup, a stunning outfit, and get her hair done, it is more appropriate to look awed and say "You are so beautiful!" Calling her cute wouldn't cut it under those circumstances. What's cute is the fact that she tried so hard to look beautiful for me.

Most women love being cute. They pick cute clothes and want their hair style to look cute.

Cute has a youthful connotation while beautiful sounds more mature. It's like the difference between the words girl and woman. Woman sounds more formal while girl rolls off the tongue easier and implies a more youthful, muliebrous and fun-loving nature.

Romance songs more often refer to "girl" because it is lyrical. They are not referring to children.
Women going out with their friends often say they're going out with the girls.

Granted, when a man calls a woman "cute", it's more low key. It's a compliment, but if she is attracted to him, she would rather be told she is gorgeous or sexy.

And the word sexy is a high compliment, but isn't always appropriate. It is reserved for certain circumstances.

I think you are cute. I also think you’re sexy! I’ve been called sexy, hot, gorgeous, cute…. I don’t like to brag but I definitely will. I see all those descriptions of me as a compliment and that’s how I take them, you should also. Sexy people like us aren’t an everyday occurrence! Just think of all the love stories of our past relative’s. It started a thousand years ago, with the attraction between two sexy people, and snowballed from there, then eventually, a beautiful baby girl named, LaFemme, and a handsome baby boy named, Wally, were born! I kinda forgot what the topic was but I hope I helped.

People always say me that you are so cute it is not a bad thing of course but hearing this always makes me think that I am a teddy bear. I sometimes want to feel sexy and feminine too. But I think it is about the face that I have. I have dimples and my face is childish. I want to feel sexy and I think I will be happier if someone says me that ‘’ you are sexy’’. When something is rare, it becomes more valuable.

Sexy is ok, but I prefer cute. It makes me happy and sexy comes across like the guy just wants me for sex - it can be awkward if said too soon.

Anyone 😂. I rarely ever get compliments. Most often it has been cute. But it feels more out of politeness than genuine interest. I appreciate any compliment whatsoever. Although... I'm not a fan of people judging only based off of appearance. Appearance faded away.

When it comes to giving compliments, I have never and probably never will call someone sexy. I usually compliment saying they're pretty, cute, charming etc. Mostly "pretty". 😂 but there's the exception of when I'm describing someone I found attractive. Say, I found you to be very pretty, and I'm describing you to another friend of mine - I go all out 🤣. Often, others have said that I overhyped then by my descriptions and the person was not as beautiful as I described them to be. (They were, to me 😊)

"Sexy/hot" is usually a more reliable indicator of attraction when women said it to me. "Cute" might just be friend material. So I used to prefer "sexy/hot" when a bachelor since it almost always meant I could date her.

Now I'm married though so I think I prefer "cute". I don't want women to be attracted to me. If I suspect they are, I start talking about my wife a lot and start introducing them to my single friends.

my fiance doesn't have to say anything... the way he looks at me and can't keep his hands off of me is enough. I wore a pair of black thigh high stockings when we went out to dinner with friends. We and my fiance were sat by side and he couldnt keep his hands off my legs.

Cute sounds girlish to me, I prefer beautiful, gorgeous, stunning or something less kid friendly. Sexy is a good word to hear from my husband, especially when I'm not feeling that way and his complement makes me feel it.

I can't remember the last time I was called either?🤔 It seems to be a guy calling you "sexy" is pursuing sex with you. A guy calling you "cute" is referring to your overall demeanor.
