I have a strange question to ask

i know of a very attractive man and he is definitely out of my league but there seems to be a rumor that he might be interested in me. Here’s the problem there’s a woman from my past that does not like me for something very petty. She is either dating him or has something with this man.
Im stuck in the middle wondering why this girl hates me so much to have this guy like me or pretend to like me. He even went out of his way to tell me he’s interested. I never flirt back I stay away but they insist on stalking me. What would you do?

Woah, that's a super messy situation you've got going on! Dealing with pettiness and drama is the worst.

First off, I wouldn't worry too much about whether this guy is "out of your league" or not. Attraction is subjective - if you like each other, that's all that really matters.

As for this girl who supposedly has a thing against you, some people just love causing problems wherever they go. It probably has nothing to do with you really. I'd try not to let her rent space in your head if you can help it.

As for the guy insisting he's interested even though you've made it clear to leave you alone, that's not really cool of him. You don't deserve to feel stalked or uncomfortable. Maybe have a serious talk with him that the behavior needs to stop, for your sake.

If he doesn't respect your boundaries after that, then he's shown his true colors and not worth your time. You deserve to feel respected. As for the drama girl, just try your best to avoid feeding into any engagement with her nonsense. Kill her with kindness if you have to interact at all.

This all seems stressful, so make sure you're taking time for yourself too! Surround yourself with people who genuinely support you without conditions. Hopefully they'll both get the hint to back off and leave you in peace. You got this!

If you aren’t interested in the guy be upfront and say can you back off. Or straight up tell him you know he is taken and you rather not go there
