When I bartended I'd strike up casual convos with clients because that's just part of the job. Don't overthink it.

like when she was asking that her coworkers laughed. and like when she asked my type, she was really curious. she had to go do something but told me hold that thought I want to know and one coworker there laughed. when she went away, the coworker said to me she's a nice girl, and asked me if I had a girlfriend/when I had a girlfriend last.

Maybe she wants you to THINK that she is interested so that you will leave her a big tip to try to impress her.

Maybe but like I know bartenders will be friendly/flirty for tips but it seemed like interest I don't know she suggested hanging out and all then I said yeah we can exchange contact info she didn’t say anything immediately left and came back with her phone we exchanged I don't know. Others were giggling when she asked my single and type. Asked more questions my age what I do got excited in her face lol I don't know

Yes, I worked as a bartender for a second job when I was in my early 20s. I was told to talk and flirt because it keeps people there to buy drinks and food.

Depends on context, that can be romantic interests but look for body language, hints, and most of all be yourself

I had just met the bartender. At first when I was there for like 30 minutes, I didn't talk to her, she served me, and then spent her break with other coworkers or sitting in corner on her phone, like bartenders do. Then, when I started talking to her later, telling her about myself she seemed to get interested. Asked me if I was single and all. And then she asked me what my type was like ethnicity wise and all. The two other people with us (bartenders) just laughed. Rest of time I was there she was with around me most of the time chatting with me and all.
