Just curious cause I text my guy friend let’s play when I wanna game and my other friends think that they’re previene it as being flirty

I mean it just depends and gut feeling says a lot, at the same time someone who has a dirty mind can take anything the wrong way.

As for me, if I feel weird about something I just say no thanks. No need to be rude about it but you can also ask him to clarify what he means by “play” seeing if it’s innocent enough or if he meant something more sexual.

Like others have said it depends on whose saying it. If it’s gaming or just genuinely having fun then that’s one thing if it’s someone I think is questionable it may be something else. Since the context is being a gamer then I would take it as gaming assuming that we haven’t been doing anything else.

It’s harder to hear how someone says something via text then voice calling or face to face. You can’t hear the voice and/or see expressions. Some people do say things so that if it doesn’t go right they can play it off as innocent enough.
