How do I break the ice with a girl I see often but never talk to?

mostly i just see her at this one place but have seen her around others recently. we always seem to notice each other when we arrive there but we've yet to ever like talk.

i'm just not sure what to say at this point and feel like maybe i should of said something sooner , she also seems strangely addicted to her phone , is like always on it even when she is doing other stuff and i don't have her # at this point so i can't reach her that way

i'm not even sure where to try and take things either if we do talk , like is this just a friendship or are we looking for more?

she wasn't at the place we normally see each other last week so will see if she returns this week

Ask yourself why you want to talk to her or to break the ice? What is your ultimate motive, your final aim to want to talk to her.

Since you placed your question under the "Flirting" topic, I have a pretty good idea what the reason behind that desire is.

If the target person is always on her phone, then it should be a sign to you that perhaps she does not want to be flirted with and that she may probably want to be left alone.

When you say "... are WE looking for more", do you mean do YOU look for more?

If your final aim is to get into her pants and want more than simple platonic friendship, then you should not try to contact her.

well yes and no , i've always found myself really attracted to her for some reason , yeah i want to sleep with her but as part of an actual relationship not just a random hook up.

true she's on her phone a lot but she always seems to notice me and didn't seem to mind the attention , she also got annoyed once when another girl she knew said hi to me

Yeah, you probably should've said hi earlier on to break the ice. Now things are a bit awkward. I guess you could think of some random excuse to ask her an innocent question, or maybe just say "Hey, we go to the same places" and smile at her.

i wouldn't say things are that awkward when were around each other just we aren't talking and pretend to be busy with other things , she's always on her phone i think she is addicted

i also found out that she likes starbucks but i never ever go there

well obviously but we've never talked yet , i find it much easier to talk to girls that i've talked to before and have build report with. but a lot of those girls i meet in situations where it was easier to talk to them like they were servers or at bars/parties.
