Is my crush ignoring me?

I'm quite new here, so don't mind if I do something wrong. Uh, well, I'm not good at relationships and all so it's quite unlucky for me to get a crush on someone. But it happened apparently. There is a guy in my class and I really like him, but the problem is - I think he's ignoring me,although I'm not sure, since I have a problem with judging people. It's just he's always talking with other girls all the time, but only talks with me when I start the whole conversation. I know the problem is probably in me, but maybe you guys can help? I'm a little confused with this since I've never had this kind of a problem. I'll be really grateful.

Other girls probably start conversation with him as well. Start first and you will talk with him more, but judging from what you said, he don't like you very much that way as he does not like most or all of those other girls.

Some guys don't initiate conversations. But are glad when talked to, so one should not judge if a guy likes her by only that.

Notice how he behaves around you. Is he kind, seems more happy around you? Smiles more? Is he glad to help with anything? Does he focus attention on you when you talk to him?

Actually, when he's around me one thingseems strange. When we were waiting for a lesson outisde class, we sat near the door on some chairs nearby, I was sitting on the last chair and there was an empty seat near me and the seat after was taken by some classmate (that would be something like me- empty seat- classmate) so my crush, just as he noticed the seat, decided to sit on the other side of corridor but not to sit beteen his good friend and me. I'm not sure if it's strange or not. D:

Might be bad, might be just random thing. Don't judge by one occasion.

But for sure there is little of close connection between him and you. If he enjoy to talk to you, he wouldn't probably sit elsewhere. Work on that.

and why would there be a reason why he wouldn't like you? did you do something to the guy? if you didn't, I think you can turn everything around...

Well, I suppose in Lithuania(maybe not only there) teens hate that one classmate, who has perfect grades, Maybe the same is here. Most of the people see me as a snob, though I'm not even acting like one.

hmm. yeah. I can see that. I think that's typical of any high school anywhere. there's this one guy everyone hates at my school... I gave him a chance, but he actually turned out to be a jerk. if you like the guy- show him how good of a person you are and whatever, and show him that whatever rumors and social things are stereotyped against you aren't true.

guys (shy ones) usually try to disconnect them frm any source of communication with a girl and wen they do so its because they are in their panic mode they are shy and nervous and just dnt want to give any hint whatsoever to the girl they show interest in only cause they fear and think of some worst situations like you slapping him or telling him not to talk to me and all...so understand this and try to make him more comfortable with your own ideas or plans

But he seems so open with most of the girls. He's always flirting with them or picking on them.

Maybe he hates my looks or something (I'm not pretty plus my attidude doesn't seem to be girlie at all ) I can't just imagine him shy.

Maybe it's not ignoring, he might not know you like him

so just treats you as a friend he talks to sometimes

try getting to know him more or arrange to walk home together or go the park/cinemas

and then he'll realise

You are more than likely reading too much into it. He's not "ignoring" you, he's just not interacting with you. Very likely because you guys are not particularly close friends or anything.

If he's chatting with other girls, it's probably because he either likes them or has some sort of friendly relations with them already. And you're probably only a classmate to him, not even a casual social acquaintance.
