Yes there are times men do fantasize about their crush without sex involved in it. But again that's a rare occurence (both the fantasising and being non sexual). Men's thoughts and brains operate differently than that of women (which is what makes them different and attracted to each other - the way nature ordained it)
Whenever they do fantasize about their crush non sexually it would be almost identical to what the women fantasize about too but skirting the borders though, maybe a holiday destination, maybe a drive, a movie, beach etc
I do fantasize about the women I've always loved and always will, I've never fantasized about her sexually ever (though we've had more than enough sex when together). I fantasize about the various things we'd discussed while we were together, we are both very busy people who tend to travel domestically & internationally so we'd fantasize about coming home together spending an evening in each others arms sipping coffee together on the couch (with the kind of work schedules we keep that was a luxury - coming home in the 'evening'), I'd cook / make coffee for us, get her hot bath ready, drive along towards the hills outside the city etc
These and a lot more constitue my fantasizes, sexual thoughts have never really seeped in (though we were amazing in that area too and both of us are very attractive people lol)
To each our own, I guess. It's been a long time since I've fantasized about anything really, which might be attributed to me being quite a realist. But I do think that it's quite common that men do fantasize about their objects of affection without it being sexual, though I think that is also the case quite often.

Most likely sex as in my observations it's the either the sole or main thing guys seek in a gal even when they like her emotionally. I don't see most male fantasies, paradises, or such being about emotions, intimacy, or romance.

I don't sit around and fantasize about what could be, but things about specific girls that make me smile invade my brain sometimes. I reflect back on funny things they've said or done in the in between moments, and then life goes on... It's not what you would expect to be funny either. It's not joke funny or intentional, it's the cute little things they probably don't even know about themselves.
