Married co-worker giving mixed signals?

I worked with this guy for around 3 years and appreciated him as sincere and hard working. Many times I had caught him staring at me unabashedly (he did not divert his eyes even when I looked at him). During meetings he would text me or signal me about how stupid things were being spoken etc. It was like our secret friendship. He never tried to touch me or speak to me otherwise. But he would always drag me into conversation where I was not required. After I quit my job, he has started sending me texts daily (mostly jokes) and asked me for a treat(indirectly asked me out). While asking for treat he sent me a pic of vodka bottle with lipstick marks on them. I did not reply on this and left him hanging. He does not say anything directly but he said he missed my work etc. He is married and has kids. I am married too. What if he says he has feelings for me? Or am I reading too much into this?

Well did he say he have feelings for you or not. Personally this dude sounds like he likes you for sure but definitely sounds like a mad werido. Plus if you really love your husband you should not even consider this guy no matter how attractive he may be. Plus if there are kids involved you do not want to be a home wrecker you know. A man who is in his mid twenties or above at this point should come out and tell you he is crazy about you...why beat around the bush what is the point you have known the dude 3 years and you no longer work together so what is he waiting for?

It is natural to find other people of the opposite sex even if you are involved or married that will likely never end...but I do not get people who marry if they feel like they may cheat or know they will. People know themselves better than anyone.

This guy sounds like a weirdo and shady I would him avoid a guy at all costs. If he can't be honest with you how he feels about you at this point he will likely string you and your emotions along for infinity and will likely never leave you for his wife...good luck

If he is sending you signals like that, it sounds like he is attracted to you. Anytime someone sends you daily communication in whatever form, you are on their mind.

Is this a mutual attraction?

If not, you need to tell him you are getting uncomfortable like with the vodka bottle(sexual indication).

Are you kidding me? This guy obviously wants to sleep with you. If you continue to communicate with him because you enjoy the flattery...you'll probably wind up sleeping with him. So pretty much comes down to:

Stop communicating with him if you don't want to sleep with him.

Keep doing what you're doing if you do want to have sex.

that is just natural when you're around someone so if you want to keep your job I always advise then you better figure out how to cut it. And don't even think about being a home wrecker. People have feelings so respect them. Don't bend over or do the hair flip or adjust your bra or be coy or flirty or all the millions of things women do to seduce a man. Try it. It will be difficult.

Sounds like he wants to flirt and see where it goes. More than likey, he would cheat if you were willing and he is just testing the waters. If you don't want to be in a weird position, you should probably stop communication.
