Asking "Put your number in my phone..." Does this actually work?

He simply asks random girls on the street for their number. Girls, would you actually give out your number to a stranger like that? I'm kind of skeptic of this video.

It might work on some women. Depending on how attractive you are the rate of success will vary. Also keep in mind putting their number in your phone doesn't mean much, could be a fake number, they might not reply, they might not want to meet, they might not like you if they do meet you. If you have a proper conversation with them you are more likely to get a feel for whether she is interested or not, which could be less effort in the long run.

Let's assume she gives out her real number. He also tests this a couple of times. Why would a girl give out her real number, risking gaining a stalker? Or giving her number, but no replying to texts or not picking up the phone. Isn't this just a hassle? And isn't it just easier NOT to give your number to a stranger.

And as you can see, the girls are complete strangers and the first thing he tells them is to put their number in his phone.

I don't think its unreasonable to think this could happen. Obviously the success rate is going to be low but it seemed pretty legitimate to me. Of course it could be fake but I don't necessarily think it is.

A girl who gives her number out to a whackjob like that, usually winds up in a dumpster smewhere dead. Being a detective in a major city, any man that does that is someone to keep you distance from. See too many nice girls be thrown in a dumpster, under these circumstances. Maybe a cop should of said, stop doing what your doing, it isn't normal, and you are causing unwanted attention.

Yes, of course it does. Not to the extent of just getting completely random strangers, of course, but in certain settings, and if you like the conversation you're having, you just give your phone over and say "Here, put in your information," and watch them intently as they enter the information. It's the new way of exchanging cards.

Not a totally random guy, but have "borrowed" cell phones from guys to sneak my number in. Generally I have to meet him a couple times before doing this. And if I have time I call my number so I got his lol.

I would NEVER do that. If this is real they must be in a super safe place cause where I live not one girl would say yes.

It looks like a college campus which honestly probably ups their chances.

This has to be staged. If some random stranger came up to me and asked for my number without even asking my name or starting a conversation like a normal human being, I wouldn't give it to him even if he was insanely hot.

I assume that in the scenario you're describing it's the first time you got to meet that person and that you're not much interested in him? I think most girls would give the guy her number if she's very interested in him and wanted to meet him again, right?

Even then... I met guys I thought would be great, so I gave them my number, so they could stalk me apparently and keep asking why I don't answer after 5 minutes in the middle of the night. So no, even then I don't give my number anymore. I just say: add me on Facebook and we can chat.

My friend was on a train once and she saw a cute guy, she opened the add contact on her phone and handed it to him. He actually put his number in.

Turns out he was a bit of a nutter. But yeah it worked for her=]

haha this is funny. I've seen guys get 100s of numbers after only talking for a couple minutes, but in this vid I think most of these are prob fake numbers.
