Do you find pregnant women attractive? Or at least not ugly

I'm asking because I'm 5 months pregnant so it's starting to show a bit and I feel my husband is ashamed of how I look.

Like the other I was taking a swim in our pool, he had some friends over and to go from our pool to our bedroom you have to go through the living room. I was just passing by and saying hello to everyone and he immediately jumped up and covered me in a blanket.

Or he tells me not to wear tight dresses anymore. Like I have a lot of dresses like this link that are now obviously a bit tighter around my belly but still fit. He doesn't like us going to the beach anymore.

I don't really get it, we both wanted that child and I think I'm keeping up fairly well. I didn't notciably gain weight on the rest of my body yet and I don't have stretch marks either.

I guess it depends on what you define as "attractive". Attractive as in nice to look at, sure. A pregnant girl can be cute. However, if you're 8 months in and you're asking if I want to f*ck you, based on looks alone, probably not. Why? Because that big melon is gonna get the way. It just seems like it will be awkward to me. Mind you, I'd probably be willing to try, I can't say your image will be boner inspiring.

he's being kind of an ass :/ maybe he just thought you looked very exposed? but telling you not to wear tight dresses...that seems out of line. it's your body, those dresses aren't slutty, I see pregnant women wearing those types of clothes and looking gorgeous... I always feel pregnant women look beautiful. so I don't know what his deal is. why not ask him up front?

tell him that you don't appreciate your thoughts/feelings being deemed as 'ridiculous'. I hate it when guys do that. what you're feeling is real and he should address it. regardless, don't feel embarrassed or anything like that. you're having a baby! that's amazing in and of itself :)

I'm not sure what his issue is. Pregnant women are beautiful. You're carrying a life and that's a wonderful and precious thing. :) Maybe ask him what his deal is in a calm and non confrontational way. And if it does turn out he's embarrassed of you, feel free to bite his head off.

Those dresses are perfect for maternity. I can only speculate what's going on in his head. I suggest you ask him in as neutral a manner as possible. Try to avoid any accusation. He sounds like he just doesn't see the beauty in a woman carrying his child. It's pretty unnatural seen as even dogs will start being all over you as soon as they smell the hormones. Maybe he's blinding his own instincts by worrying about what others think. Maybe somewhere along the line a man he looked up to made a joke about women being fat and ugly when pregnant.

I think the dresses are fine though. Very casual and cute. Plus, they look comfortable.

I don't know why, but there is something about that small belly (First and Second trimester) that looks pretty. I don't have an explanation. Maybe part of it has to do with femininity? I don't know.

If the face of a girl is attractive to me, it doesn't matter if they are pregnant. Tell your husband not to overreact and that covering you up with a blanket looks weird. I didn't see the dresses but you can wear the dresses. If you don't like it that he doesn't want to go to the beach with you, nicely tell him how you feel. Tell him that after the baby you can lose weight.
