In group outings, will a girl ignore a guy she liked when she doesn't think he likes her back?

I have this situation where a girl made it fairly obvious she liked me and I didn't do anything about it. She started to ignore me (taking hours between texts, always too busy to hang out, etc.) Then, she started to invite me places again, but never alone anymore just in group settings. But, when we go to those she ignores me! For example, this time I was invited to a get together at a bar with a group of 15 or so. She was invited after me and didn't know I was coming. When she arrived and saw me she acted really nervous for a while, she hardly looked at me when I was looking her way, whenever I cracked a joke she would have thought was funny or even when I talked she'd get more reserved, she had a very forced laugh whenever I wasn't looking her way. She'd ask me a few questions here and there. And she made sure to give me a hug when she left. I'm not saying these are signs she likes me still, just examples of how she's ignoring me.

Hey, if you convinced her you weren't interested in her, you can't expect her to be warm or spontaneous towards you. At least she's polite, and still invites you, and even hugs you.

Why do you complain? You could always try to make it up to her if you now have developed some affection!

Well it's a personal quirk ( so it has no generic outlook ) and you're a source of anxiety for her. That's all. You call it ignoring; I see it as "coping".

what do you want from her if YOU didn't do anything about it how can she act friendly around u, she is probably making sure you know she's not going to show hints of liking you anymore since obviously you aren't interested in her.

Definitely. Why would she waste her time? Personally, if I showed I liked him and he didn't ever respond I'd get over it and move on. For my own dignity.
