My Favorite Peanut Butter Sandwiches.

After so many years, I can finally get myself to sit down and focus on this. My brain is going to be everywhere (as usual), but I will use this MyTake to survive until dinner time. Now, let's start:

1. PB&J Sandwich

It's your classic PB&J here. Take white bread or wheat bread, peanut butter of your choice, and then finally jelly or jam to top it off. Put it together and you have yourself a PB&J sandwich. I ate this throughout all of my school years and still do to this day as an adult. I like using natural creamy Jif brand peanut butter with strawberry jam. But I can only eat honey wheat bread now due to my stomach. I always put my bread in the toaster as my first step, as it does make a better sandwich. Just be careful, it might be slippery! Oh, and the toast will be hot, almost forgot to mention safety precaution.

2. PB & Banana Sandwich

Bananas is a type of fruit that might not last long if you don't eat it. So, what better way than to use them for your peanut butter sandwiches. Just bread, sliced bananas, and PB of your choice and there you go, you've got yourself a fruity sandwich. I like putting honey or strawberry jam on mine, as well as toasting the bread. Elvis also loved bananas on his sandwich, and I agree that it's delicious! This is something that's only ready to eat, so taking it to work or school isn't advised. Unless you don't mind what happens to the banana slices.

3. PB, Apple, & Honey Sandwich

I could only find a PB & apple image, oh well.

Some people love apple slices and peanut butter as a snack, but it's even better as a sandwich! Unlike the previous one with bananas, thin apple slices are much more filling. Adding honey to this makes it all the better! You can use pretty much any apple for this, in my experience there really isn't a limit on what kind you should use. So, if you like sour, go ahead and slice up a granny smith apple. I can't stop you, but I won't be eating that sour sandwich. It's all yours.

4. Fluffernutter Sandwich

If you've never heard this type of peanut butter sandwich before, you might be thinking "PB, what the heck is in this?" Well, be glad you asked. It's creamy peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. That's all this is. If you want to make it really good, I'd highly advise grilling it in a pan. The fluff helps stick everything together. Just please, don't burn your sandwich. However, I should point out that this sandwich is more made as a snack or dessert rather than an actual lunch.

5. PB & Celery Sandwich

Did you love ants/bugs on a log? Well, this peanut butter sandwich might be for you then! I once in a while will make myself a celery and pb sandwich when I want some variety or just something that's not fruity. I've put raisins on mine once before, but I'd rather only have the celery and peanut butter on mine. Creamy pb, sliced celery, and add raisins if you'd like. Don't forget to wash that celery stalk off.

6. PB, Apple, and Cinnamon Sandwich

I could only find toast, forgive me.
I could only find toast, forgive me.

I woke up one afternoon and decided I'd do something different with my peanut butter sandwich. After spreading on the peanut butter and thinly sliced apples, I got the idea to sprinkle some ground cinnamon on it. Was it good? Absolutely! Except I made the mistake of eating it on an empty stomach, which is a no no for spices. So that was an ouch. So, just a reminder, don't do what I did. I think heating it up a little bit makes it better.

7. PB & Nutella Sandwich

My Favorite Peanut Butter Sandwiches.

Peanut butter & chocolate nutella, what doesn't make a pair in heaven? This is similar to eating a Reese's cup, except it's on a sandwich. I like to put sliced strawberries or bananas on mine. You can grill it in a pan if you want, toast the bread, or leave it how it is. But this is another one of those sandwiches you'd eat as a snack or dessert, not a lunch.

8. PB Cravers Sandwich

My Favorite Peanut Butter Sandwiches.

This was from the last time I was craving a PB&J sandwich. So, what did I do? I used the creamy pb first on both pieces of bread, then added crunchy to one of them and strawberry jam to the other. For someone who was craving peanut butter pretty badly, this was pretty good! Too much peanut butter? Maybe a little. But I was starving, so can you blame me? If you try this, tell me what you think.

9. PB & Pickle Sandwich

My Favorite Peanut Butter Sandwiches.

Does it seem odd? Maybe. But I can definitely tell you that it is good. Get a jar of dill pickle chips or slices, a jar of creamy pb, and then two pieces of bread. How ever many pickles you want on this sandwich is up to you, but I do about 4 or 5 chips at least. Whatever you do, do not use relish as a substitute. It won't taste good, and it'll just taste like nothing. Some people have also used jelly on this, but I've never done this. Not sure what other pickles you could use besides dill but be my guest and experiment, if you dare.

10. PB & Mayonnaise Sandwich

Nope, this isn't an April Fool's joke! This sandwich actually exists, and some people love it while others hate it. I for one can say I love it. The tanginess of the mayo and saltiness of the peanut butter work well together. But just like the pickle sandwich, I wouldn't make it an everyday thing, just a once in a while. Plus, my stomach would probably kick me on either of these, but who cares? Anything else you need to know is that it's a fatty sandwich, so if you're health conscious, this might be the one sandwich you'd skip out on this list.

I might make more, but I'm done with this one for now, see you around G@G everyone.
