I've made duck a few times for holidays and the family loved it.. A few weeks ago, went out for dinner and discovered a restaurant near me has duck dinners as one of their Sunday specials, so ordered it and YUM! Was so good and quite a lot of food for $14. So good, I ordered it as take out to go the next Sunday... Was tempted to order today, but have food here need to cook, and having a lazy, don't want to go nowhere weekend..

I would love to try it always wanted to

i'd feel kind of bad about eating a duck...

  Had it once at my wife's maternal grandma's house. She loved duck. Would suck on those bones until they were cleaner than a hospital operating room! I just thought it was too gamey of a taste.

  Hahaha that was my daughter the one Easter I made it, I had to wrestle the bone from her less she choked on it 🤣🤣I didn't get a gamey flavor from it.. Both when I made it and even ordered it from the restaurant

  You should, it's pretty good.. although reading some of these threads, it must make a difference of it's prepared right, because some replies said it was too greasy or gamey tasting and that's never been my experience... Yes dick can be fatty, but that's why you score it good to release/remove the fat, and my girls loved it when I made it for the holidays

  Right! It's so good and many ways to prepare it.. Last time, I made it for a holiday, I had to wrestle the bone away from my older daughter less she choked on it trying to suck the flavor out of the bone 🤣🤣
