What do Cheetos taste like to you?

Look Cheetos are not available here in Germany but I see them nearly everywhere in movies, stories and etc and ughhh I just wanna taste them haha
Like I could still order them but the prices are insaaane tho 16€ for one fucking thing

Cheetos are shit!

Why?

Because they are a rip-off of the original and much better Cheez Doodle.
I mean, just look at the name! Cheetos. That's a typo! It should be "Cheat-Os" because they are a rip-off of the original Cheez Doodles!
So, don't even bother with Cheetos.

Furthermore, puffs are better than crunchy! THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE CRUNCHY!

So, me, I prefer Cheez Doodle Puffs.
My wife prefers Crunchy Cheetos.
But I am from New York where cheese puffs - the original Cheez Doodles - were invented. (*)
My wife is from the midwest, so she grew-up eating shit and doesn't know any better.
So, think of it like this: It's as if I am French and know wine, while she is 'Murican and doesn't like wine because it doesn't take like the grape juice that was called wine where she grew up in the midwest. She just didn't know any better so her culinary tastes are fucked up.

Anyway, if you know anyone in the USA flying from the northeast USA to Germany, ask them to bring you a bag of Cheez Doodles.

It's basically a rigid corn puff that's flavored with a chemical agent that might have onge seen a picture of cheese; you're not missing a whole lot.

If you're really desperate, well, remember that it's illegal to *sell* them in Germany, but not to possess them or cive them away; just have somebody come to visit and bring you some.

I have only tried the crunchy ones, because I cannot eat hot spicy foods. To me they taste so good and cheesy that I was addicted to them. They taste like saltycheesy corn chips. They turn your fingers orange and you have to wash your hands after eating them. In fact, anything you touch will turn orange. I seem to be one of a few that actually likes them. Sometimes I get a craving for them.

That's unfortunate. We always have Cheetos in the house. I guess the closest thing I can think of is cheese puffs/balls or fried cheddar.

I would recommend you to get the Mexican versions... you can look them up as Cheetos by Sabritas

they taste different and much better, and yeah... it's just a cheesy snack, but the Mexican versions have a bit more flavour because of the hint for other spices in it, lol

Crunchy, dry but not is a bad way, and cheesy but not like real cheese. They’re oddly satisfying to eat and can be addicting. It’s really hard to describe since without cheese they have no flavor and with the cheese it tastes like cheese but doesn’t at the same time.

I'm sorry but YOU DONT HAVE CHEETOS IN GERMANY? WHAT THE FUCK. Lol in all seriousness they taste really good. I recommend trying flamin hot as they are waaayy better than cheesy cheetos simply due the "cheesy aftertaste" you get after consuming a fair amount. This is with every cheese flavored chips tho so it's not exclusive to cheetos. If you can, just go on ebay or some other online store where you can buy them.

Just tried them today in the UK, they have the same taste as Walkers Quavers, which are a cheese flavoured crisp

Only difference is that Cheetos are a lot crunchier, personally I think Walkers Wotsits (cheese puffs) have a better flavour
