I do. We could have empty shelves in grocery from Rail Strike. Tornadoes, Hurricanes, blackouts, mob rule, BLM riots, and Earthquakes.
You better prepare for SHTF situation.

I did back home in the US. Six months worth of non-perishables and a gas mask. Not really here in Korea, though. No place to put it! 🤷♂️ Unless you count two weeks worth of instant ramen I have stored up.

The say no one can find Chicken Ramen noodles anywhere
I do, but not because I'm a survivalist or prepper. When I see good deals on non-perishables at the grocery store, I stock up. I have two freezers completely packed. I have tons of canned and boxed food.
I also have a lot of "real" survival food that someone gave me. They had so much that they started giving it away since they couldn't use it all. There are only a couple of those that I actually eat though.
When COVID hit and we were on lock down, I didn't buy any groceries for 3-4 months. That barely made a dent in the food I have. I'd guess that I have well over a year of food, maybe even two years. It's mostly boring food that I would get tired of real fast, but I could live on it. I also have a lot of seeds for a garden to supplement the boring food.
No, I'm not going to live my life in fear of something that'll probably never happen. Worst happens I'll just eat my sheep or pop down the road to the beach for free seafood
Exactly. You live in Wales. Just cook up and eat your boyfriend— I mean sheep, sorry, wrong word— and you’ll make it through the winter easy-peasy.

I always do. I have my old sea bag from the Navy and a backpack full of clothes, food and other essentials in case of a catastrophe. I've been homeless too many times to not be prepared for emergencies. In those 2 bags are EVERYTHING a person would need to survive off the land, defend themselves, create a fire, boil water, hunt, fish and other essentials. I also have seeds to grow crops and the skills my grandfather taught me for how to run a farm. I even have a book that tells me if wild fruit is edible or not.
Good man!!! For those starting a "disaster box"- - - - be sure to have at LEAST 3 sources of fire/ignition, and 3 of light, a point often overlooked by those just starting out. And for those who are experienced or who want to start being prepped, check out the "Traditional Skills Summit" which teaches basic survival skills, cooking for the long-run on less food, growing your own, animal husbandry, etc.
@Massageman I remember my SERE training from the military.
Let's hope we only need to use the first one, the "S". :-
@Massageman Hopefully
Yeah, canned food, nuts, dry food like cereal bars, graham crackers, beef jerky, etc. I would be good for a few months at least. Plenty of weapons and ammo too. My next purchases in that area will be a gas mask and armor. It is just over $1,000 for a full set of armor (plates and soft armor) from safelifedefense, and the helmet would be an additional $250 for level IV.
I'm friendly with the surrounding farm people.
I have some fishing and trapping gear.
I grow some own food stuff.
Any ''survival'' shit will not last long enough anyway.
It's a Hollywood illusion to ''plan'' otherwise :)
Yes, I have a survival box that I can grab the moment the solar flare hits. It has two weeks of canned food, water, shelter, first aid, even a portable shower. I'm currently working on an off-grid cabin, although I don't know how solar panels will work after a solar flare.

Failure to prepare is preparing to fail💯
I wonder how much money you blew away for the year 2000 drama.
I knew folks who spent hundreds of thousands.
$0 , Y2K . I thinking of a fort to keep you and BLM from attacking me.
Haha! Liar.
You are an extremist fruitcake. Ripe for the picking. I wish I was nearby. I would be selling you your own piss for thousands.
You know regular food is survival food, no need to pay extra for it. Just have food home and you can manage.
this lasts 25 years , it would cost you thousands replacing regular food that lasts no more than 2 years
There will be no food , that is the point. .
What is your favorite flowers? I will try to let them know to put them on your grave
We simply have a stock of food that would last about a half-year, add, use, rotate, so it is always kept fresh. I just can't swing $4+ per serving, plus have to add extra water to re-hydrate it.
Yes, a decent variety of prepared foods, and raw ingredients to cook on our own. We could get by for 3-4 months, possibly up to 6 or more, depending on what is/ is not available on the outside.
I do not but we are stockpiling a lot more stuff since finding items in the supermarket has been spotty at best. I have a freezer full of meat.
What about Oath Keeper or Proud Boy riots? You forgot them.
Lol. Lefties. 🙄 🤦♂️
Yeah a little bit
I do.. I have a ton of survival gear.
My friend has a lot of rice and canned food
Nope.
What will you do for food? Stores empty.
I am building up good in the freezer
