  I was once an "extra" in a commercial shot to celebrate the birthday of the "hot dog". (My company made equipment/supplies needed for the production of the hot dogs.). They shot 60 takes- I was there for the first 40, and then a back-up group came in after lunch to do 20 more while we went back to the office. Grilled hot dogs? No. The "grill marks" were painstakingly measured/applied with a hot poker heated over a conventional stove and the dogs then sprayed with something (oil? glycerin? ) Each dog had to look exactly the same as each other, have the same grill marks, the same number of mustard wiggles, etc., in case they had to edit one take into another. We DID get a lunch out of it- thankfully, the food was NOT hot dogs.

yes, I made burgers last Saturday. I made them a little bigger to accommodate these nice rolls from the bakery. I usually toast them just before I put the burger in them. Throe on a couple of slices of bacon and voila,

  Mc Donalds here isn't that good. Plus, with patties being so thin you'd mostly be eating bread. But the picture does look tempting with all the lettuce and what seems to be extra pickles on it (anyone who loves pickles should always ask for extra on a burger).
