As long its not infested will you keep eating at a restaurant if they have or you spot a rat in there, why, why not?

The reality the immense majority of restaurants establishments are going to have some rats in there sometimes since you can't 100% keep them out 100% of the time because those bastards are eventually going to sneak in through small cracks underground or small cracks the wall or roof.

Rodents and insects are attracted to the biomass. You can't stop that. Poisoning can have an opposite effect too. Sticky traps work well, but again, you'll still have rodents, as you're only catching some of them in the sticky traps. Like unless they set up the kitchen to be sprayed down with boiling water every night that's likely to happen.

Sticky boards etc are not legal in UK unless you are licensed pest control, even then you have to stay with them with a means of humane euthanasia, eg a.410,,,

I was in a restaurant once and I saw a rat jump up into that "toe space" between a cupboard and the floor. I told an employee about it and we looked through the cupboards. We would have had to get on the floor and look for whatever crack there was to see where on earth that rat went, but I was just a customer and I didn't want to get that into it. LOL...

Good question. I'd keep eating there if I was 100% sure the place wasn't infested. My house is clean but has still had mice. (Getting a cat was the best idea I ever had)

Yeah, I saw video once how much space a rat or mice needs to get inside and you wouldn't believe how small the crack needs to be.

Rats can squeeze their bones inwardly that allows them into a very tiny spaces. 🫤
