I use ice trays but I know some of y'all must have those fancy thingys in the freezer that you put water in and it freezes it and you just put the cup and it drops cubes.

We have a cube dispenser on our fridge. Best part about ice cube molds is you can have any shape you want. Rainbows, unicorns, etc. 🧊🧊🧊

I've never had ice cubes shaped like that. Maybe if I don't have a dispenser in the future when I live by myself, I'll do that. Rainbows could be for colorful drinks (like grape soda).

I use ice cubes from trays. My fridge came with the ice maker, but it is too slow and it shoots them out too fast so they sometimes bounce off the bottom of the glass onto the floor. Plus I use more ice than it can keep up with. I drink a lot of stuff each day and use ice almost every time because I like really cold drinks.

Ours is in the middle, it makes it make the ice cubes that fills up a large tray in the freezer. You never run out of ice or have to fill ice trays. Only drawback is you have to put ice in your own cup.

I had a fancy refrigerator that dispensed ice and water, but the ice kept getting clogged. Now I have a less fancy one that makes ice in a drawer in the freezer you can scoop ice from. Still kind of miss the water though.

We have one in the fridge, but if we have guests over or host a party we use an ice bucket and tongs.

It is a small one, some people want a few cubes in wine, soda or a mixed drink.
Keeps people's sticky fingers out of the ice.
We entertain in the basement, the fridge is upstairs so not very practical to go up and down for ice.
We keep some ice in the freezer down stairs.

Cube dispensers are fancy? I'd say that pretty standard on most middle of the line refrigerators now. And I'm not highfalutin man.

But no man my just sits there. I virtually never use the ice dispenser as typically I prefer my drinks without ice. But I use the water dispenser every day.

My freezer doesn't have an ice dispenser, and I do not use Ice trays, I have my cold drinks in a 30 Oz stainless vacuum tumbler and I freeze water in a 20 Oz stainless tumbler, which lasts all night and well into the following day.
