Eggs often come twelve (a dozen) to a carton, as shown in the picture.
When you select your eggs for cooking, how do you take them from the carton?
I am an engineer, and I take them, typically two at a time, from opposite ends of the carton, so that the carton stays balanced when I carry it. So, if I were to empty the carton over several days, I would remove the eggs like this:
1+12, 6+7, 2+11, 5+8, 3+10, and 4+9
which, interestingly, each pair of eggs totals 13, a lucky number.
Do you have a plan for removing eggs from the carton, or do you just grab them randomly? And is there any particular reason for the way you do it?
G@G users would kike to know.
