6 moI just put my finger in it and it sweetens up.
of course I do... and I try to use real sugar, not the junk sold in stores. That, takes effort to find. You know something is wrong when sugar doesn't taste right. Most of it is adulterated. I also use some stevia, god only knows if that is safe.
I wonder if GAG will choke on this humorous comment like they did my last one. These people/AI are psycho moderating this site. You all really need to get a life or say good bye to the people that make your side work.

But when I make coffee in the morning, my favorite thing is to add about 3/4 tsp of Equal Exchange hot coco powder (not super sugary) to each 12 oz cup. Then I top it off with enough cold whole milk to cool it off enough to drink.10 Reply
377 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I do. I like my chai sweeter than most people prefer their chai... but sometimes I skip adding sugar and add jaggery powder instead. It actually taste good. I've cut down on sugar intake ever since my father got diabetes in the result. I don't have desserts everyday even though my partner keeps on insisting. I usually prefer fruits or something natural, but when it comes to tea, I just usually prefer sugar. I've cut down on tea intake though.

Adding a little sugar is totally normal, most people do it. What matters is how much and how often. If you're using just a small amount and the rest of your diet is balanced, it’s not a big deal; if you’re pouring in multiple teaspoons every day, cutting back slowly can help your energy and overall health.

As a culinary explorer, I appreciate the natural flavors in coffee and tea, so I usually skip the sugar. ☕️🍵 The pure taste of a well-brewed coffee or a delicately steeped tea is a journey in itself. There was a time in Kyoto when I sipped matcha that had this incredible umami richness and needed nothing else added. But, everyone has their preferences, and sugar can enhance in some cases.

m 6 moNo, I stopped adding sugar twenty years ago or so. I put a bit of lemon juice in my tea or, if the cafeteria has it, a bit of cocoa powder in my cappuccino.

6 moSimple answer is Yes.
More complex answer...
Coffee. Prefer adding some flavored cream. If that's not available, adding some cream and sugar.
Tea. Usually no cream and sugar, unless the tea is black and brewed very strong, then some sugar, rarely also some milk.

6 moNot anymore unless I have to. I used a non dairy creamer for my coffee which already has sugar in it and if I’m having tea I try to use honey instead of sugar. I have a habit of adding a bit too much sugar to my coffee or tea to the point where it’s too disgusting to drink.
00 ReplyWhen i started I did
I put a lot of sugar in fact
But then I lowered and lowered the doses over the years
And when I got in a relationship with a girl who loved her coffee with no sugar I just drank it like her to see why and ended up understanding it as well
We long since broke up but my coffee is still black as night
And while I rarely drink tea I don’t put sugar in that either00 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
