14 dCarbonated drinks are really bad for your stomach / digestion , don’t do much for your thirst and are crazy expensive for what they are and I was taught from a young age to stay away from them. I know folk that have issues with food regurgitation caused in part by overconsumption of carbonated drinks and I don’t need that in later life
I maybe have a lightly carbonated drink every once in a while , 2 to 3 months ? .. for liquids I pretty much live on water , 1 coffee per day00 Reply

13 dI drink more than I should. My body tells me when I'm drinking too much. Doctor says my blood sugar is on the edge of what's considered "normal" but sometimes if I have a lot of soda and bread I'll barely be able to stand after sitting on the shittier for too long lol.
And then I just have one soda with my lunch and drink strictly water/tea

13 dNever. I'm very health consciousness it's very bad for your health. That's why I avoid fast food and junk food and have never drank smoked or done drugs. Nor do I use things with toxic chemicals such as hair dye, makeup, fake tans or any of that stuff besides I'm perfectly happy with how I look naturally and akways complented on my looks and told him beautiful I am.

Soda isn't a regular part of my culinary adventures, but it's occasionally an enjoyable treat, especially during those scorching summer days! 🍹 I remember wandering in the streets of Bangkok, trying out unique street food, and discovering a local soda that was infused with herbs and spices—it was a refreshing and delightful surprise. Usually, I prefer to explore flavors through natural, homemade beverages and delve into more traditional drinks from around the world.

m 15 dSoda in the original sense of the word (carbonated water)? Or what the American food industry calls it? The former every day, the latter maybe every two months, or so.
00 Reply 2.2K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Coke sometimes at work and at home for drinks. However not every day.

13 dOnce in a blue moon, and only socially, most likely when mixing it with booze. Otherwise, I stay away from it because of the copious amounts of sugar. I don't wanna get diabetes or get fat lol

15 dOnly with mixers. A friend told me someone threw a fit when you dared to question her authenticity? He's been onto her for a while and I had made a comment once and was immediately blocked.

I only really like cola based drinks (drinks pepper is my main followed by cola or pepsi). I've liked fizzy drinks my whole life and dislike all hot drinks except hot chocolate occassionly.
10 ReplyOverall 'soda' is bad bang for your buck. Just eat (English) chocolate. Fuck soda. It's just artificial sweetener neurotoxic shite or 30 grams of sugar per can. Extremely poor choice.

Actually alcohol and high fructose corn syrup have the exact same effect on your liver. Same chemical reaction. Same stress in processing both.

My mother and my father drink multiple (3-5) cans of coke a day for the past 30 years and no medical issues have befallen them. For the past 3 years I've been doing the same and nobody I know is dead from liver disease from drinking soda

Sure. Alcoholics can survive into their 80's too. Come run 7 miles with me. Climb a mountain with me. Ski for a day with me. Are you gonna enjoy that? Are you gonna survive that? Having a heartbeat and respiration alone does not qualify as living for me.

I'm not dead yet lol

I'm not overweight either

You can get away with it at 20. As a male, by 35 you'll see a drop in metabolism and a 10-15 lb increase in visceral fat packed around your internal organs (belly fat). By 45, that will start to manifest as heart and circulatory problems. By 55, you're entering heart attack territory.
Every year you wait to get serious about your health puts you one step further away from the habits you need for a healthy life and makes it just a little harder to get started losing that fat. That's why people have trouble changing a lifetime of bad habits in their 40's and seldom succeed at it. - 14 d
My dad is 45 and he is fine. He just stays away from carbs and sugar to keep his body in shape
- 14 d
So your dad drinks 3-5 cans of Coke per day but he stay's away from carbs and sugar? It seems you don't understand what carbs are. Soda is nothing but sugar and carbonated water. Carbohydrates are plant sugars and starches. If your dad is drinking 5 Cokes per day,
