Almost every woman will give out all the specifics to one close friend - it depends on the girl weather she starts the conversation or weather the other friend asks. Whichever way it starts, it ends up the same. What I've learned is - the women that don't want to 'talk about it' usually just don't want to bad mouth their bad lover...

Complaining...ya know...

Specifics... For usefulness and personal experience sake. And, of course, recommendations.

5. Which underwear is best

All panties and bras are not created equal. Girls look after one another when it comes to comfort.

In a light-hearted sort of way, of course. Talking about habits, hobbies, how nice they are to their wives/girlfriends, how sweet and their fitness level. Just creating a funny juxtaposition.

In my experience -- and I have lots and lots and lots of girlfriends, from a bewildering variety of backgrounds (I'm like the center point of a Venn diagram of girlfriends, lol) -- number 1 is something that ONLY happens under two kinds of circumstances:

1a) When the sex is MEANINGLESS;
(casual sex... vacation sex, for girls who go there... friends with benefits... and, MOST commonly, sex in a relationship/marriage that has mostly lost its value in the woman's eyes)

1b) When the woman FEELS BETRAYED, and just wants to talk shit about the guy.

Srsly -- I don't think I've *ever* encountered a woman spilling the super juicy dirty details on a man she was genuinely in love with... EVER. That's just not a thing that happens.

In fact, I'm just gna come out and say this:
Gossiping about sex -- if she's in a relationship or married -- is a VERY strong indicator that she's already mentally "checked out" of that relationship, and is totally looking for an attractive exit plan.

POSSIBLE exceptions made for MAJOR sexual ISSUES. If boyfriend/hubby hasn't had an erection in 5 weeks, then, sure, she's gna start reaching out to her girlfriends for advice -- because she's desperate! She needs the D!

People are being touchy because they're thinking about the way girlfriends throw around stories of sexual escapades just for the lulz, "Sex and the City" style -- the same way as boys' infamous locker-room talk (and just as exaggerated, from what I understand from talking to my brothers ahah)

No, I'm pretty sure most men are aware that women talk about those things, and I don't think most of us really care either to be honest. The only thing that really gets me is No.1: it's definitely true that women talk with their friends about how a guy is/was in bed, my only problem is how women hate it if a guy talks with his guy friends about how she is in bed or what she does.

Women are sensitive, self-concious, and embarrassed about that, and want to say a guy is a jerk for talking about their sex life with other people, but she doesn't mind sharing the details with her female friends. She feels wronged to be put out there, but is okay with gossipping to her friends about her sex life.

I have participated in a couple of girls night. It was pleasant and very informative. I was actually curious to hear what they had to say and honestly, girls are much more willing to talk about sex than guys do. I mean, it was raunchy and very very open. I was surprised at how much they opened up even if I was there. There were no boundaries. I have seen them at their best and their worse. I have heard stories from them that would put them in a bad light and others in a good light. It was honest and crude. Guys don't do this. We tend to control our message, we discriminate between what we'll say and what we won't.
They were very interesting experiences and I won't hesitate to do it again.

I don't find the idea of sharing intimate and personal details about the man you're supposed to love very appealing. I don't want to hear about any person's sex life let alone spill the beans about my own with the man I love. The only person who you should be discussing those things with is your significant other.

The period stuff yes, shaving things from time to time. How he compares? No. He's the only person I've ever been with and we hope to get married. If I talk about him it's only ever about the good things. Any issues or problems we face only concerns us. My life isn't a reality television program for my "friends" to tune into.

I stay away from women who does #1 and #6. I have no respect for the ones who do #1, especially in public and when their sex life is in of anybody's business to begin with. Unless there is a problem like suspicions of STD, pregnancy, or cheating. Number #6 is annoying to me. I don't need to know how great your guy is. Let me judge wither or not he is or isn't. And if I find something not correct, I will not hesitate to point that out. And no, looks have nothing to do with it. Usually girls are so infatuated with the person they are with the miss out subtle clues about the guy that may prove that he is not somebody she needs to be with. But to each there own. Good my take but you forgot number 4. After being pretty much one of the girls with my female friends for a semester. I can definitely say that they do talk about those things in explicit detail. They also some times do it over lunch. Which usually killed my apitite much to their amusement.

I think most men figure this out eventually, and the first one is important because this is precisely why you never tell any woman anything unless you want the whole world to know. Information is an asset that can turn into a liability if you don't use it correctly. Men should never be honest with information and only tell women what they are able to handle. I may sound bitter but never had anything come around to bite me but it's because I became aware of this and know how to tip toe around it ;-)

If he talked about me in the same manner as I would talk about him then yeah, I wouldn't mind. However if a guy talks about girls then it's generally bragging or in a more mean way; ie my Sophie is so great she gave me a wonderful surprise this morning. Whereas girls will just calmly discuss things, without there being any bragging or rudeness, it's just talking about it how it is. How it felt and any advice like he wants to do anal have you done it etc
