Also, where your Take fails is that women do actually go for downright evil guys, and they much prefer them to normal guys. There are countless examples, but here are a fews:

There's a serial killer here, who murdered his mother when he was a teenager. They made a documentary about him when he was in prison, and he started getting female fans. When he got out, he dated a single mother. He ended up murdering her and her two sons, and dismembering the bodies, which have never been found. He got life in prison. And more female fans. He has been married twice while in prison, to really good-looking girls. He even fathered a child with one of them.

Next example: The inventor who murdered a female journalist on his submarine. She was doing a piece on him, and agreed to an evening dive in his homemade submarine. She must have felt safe enough, because he was a minor celebrity and seemed fairly harmless. Unfortunately, it turned out that he was a sadistic psychopath, and he impaled her, dismembered her, and dumped her at sea, before leading the police on a wild goose chase. He got life in prison. At his sentencing hearing were his THREE current girlfriends. One of them was a female prison guard he had seduced during the trial.

Next up: Marc Dutroux, notorious Belgian serial killer and paedophile. Abducted and murdered several young girls. Gets fan mail in prison, including raunchy pics, from adoring young girls.

Also: A young German psychopath who murdered his neighbours' young son, and also an online friend he stayed at while on the run. He receives lots of adoring letters with undressed pics from women in his prison mail. Or, he would, if it wasn't kept from him by the authorities.

Also: The perpetrator of the Parkland Shooting. He receives a stunning amount of fan mail from young women especially, again including seedy pictures.

And, of course, Bronson - the notorious British prisoner, who has been locked up for so long because he keeps attacking prison guards. His much younger (and attractive) wife just killed herself because he broke up with her. It will come as no surprise that they met during his prison term.

These are all examples of sadistic assholes who have way, way, way, way more success with women than most guys I have met, including decent attractive ones.
