What does it mean when a girl says you're hard to figure out?

I have a good friend who is a girl, and we tell each other everything. Today she said that even though we're hella cool, she still doesn't know what I'm completely about.

She said she can get a good idea of who people are within a short while of knowing people, but I'm different. I'm not like most people. She said that it was a good and bad thing...

Exactly what does this mean? How would it be good and how would it be bad?

What I'm comprehending is that you may be sending mixed signals. It's a good thing because your telling her things, and communicating, but It's bad because she can't figure out what you mean by speaking to her. What I just said may be confusing, so I'll tell you what i mean. What I mean by figuring out, is the fact that she can't comprehend who you really are. She can't comprehend whether your a nice guy, secretive, or just an average joe. Try talking to her about what you like, and maybe she will get an idea about your personality! It's also good because your unique! Hope this helps!

I think it might be because I'm so casual and happy/mellow about everything, but at the same time I think most high schoolers are fake and that everything is just bullshit. But I say it like it doesn't bother me (it does, I just don't show it)
