Girls, Why does the sound of my girlfriends pee change?

So my bedroom basically had thin walls next to the bathroom so I can sometimes hear my girlfriend when she goes to the bathroom. But I've noticed sometimes when she pees it sounds like tinkling, you know water hitting water like when we pee. But sometimes it sounds like a hissing kind of sound. Why is it always different? Is there something wrong or is it normal?

Men are weird aren't they! Sometimes I go to the bathroom and open the door, only to find my partner and my dog standing there. I ask if they need to use the bathroom. Lol He usually responses with 'no, just waiting for you' weird.
