Haha very possible. She sounds a little like me. I'm a freshman. I'm really shy too and an introvert. I don't have many friends but I like this guy a lot. I used to laugh too much at my crushes but now I try everything to hide the fact that I like the guy. I'll keep as restricted as possible.
she's seems to either like you and just not know how to tell you or she might want to become friends with you it really depends on your actual relationship with her right now. But if you have never talked to her before she probably does like you.
