Who is that a picture of? Anyway, the amount of posting a girl does to social media is directly related to how vapid she is! Excessive posting to social media means you have nothing better to do with your time, therefore not a lot to offer.
I believe girls post a lot online, not because they need validation or are being needy, but instead as a way to express themselves.
Please tell me you don’t believe that lol. That’s true with some girls but less than a third
I kind of agree depending on what kinds of posts they do
It depends on what she writes. And, sometimes people might think she is conceded but just the people who don't know you very well
People that post every single thing they do or nothing but selfies gets on my nerves. Absolutely it comes off as being attention seeking.
I used to post selfies but not anymore i deleted all my pictures and i don't share my life on social media as i find it silly for people i don't know to know details about my life
Depends on what they post, if they are backpacking in a third world country I like it. If they only post selfies it comes off as needy, egocentric, dull and vain.
I think it depends on the girl!
There’s no one answer you can apply to every single female who has social media lol
my first thoughts to this question were very stereotypical. after reading your answer, I couldn't agree with you more. on my opinion, with as much diversity there is in the world today, your answer could be applied to so many things. I need to remember to always stay open minded
That’s great! I wish more people had your attitude :)
Yes. I think so and they try to fish for compliments to feel better about themself. Selfies with the caption "OMG so ugly right now" or "Just a quick Selfie. I know It's not good"
Yes, I find this very off-putting. Think of how much validation you would need to give them on a daily basis. If exhausting.
Yes, but there is always going to be the desperate "wow girl you are absolutely gorgeous" type of dudes in the comments so why would they stop? Of course they love the attention
(1) Needy
(2) Vapid/basic
(3) Simplistic
(4) Reliant on others for validation
(5) Mentally ill...
I could go on =P
Yes, we post selfies when we want validation. But nothing wrong with posting selfies. It's a sign of confidence.
If you're confident you don't do things just cause you need validation, it's the exact opposite
@long_ass_snood I post selfies regardless whether I get likes or not, honestly. Not that I post a lot, just profile pictures.
It's nothing to trip on at all it's no big deal just keep being cool. It's the confidence that attracts Beauty
If the girl is hot then it comes off as she's slutty or fake if the girl is fat or ugly it comes off is there an insecure loser
Nothing wrong with woman being needy. As well as attention seeking that's what make them woman. Why should they apologize for what they are suppose be. No one needs to validate their emotional needs. They are just sharing their stories.
Wow... this was sexist.
Women’s nature is not to be attention seeking...
Also, this clearly shows how much you knew about “woman” since you can’t be bothered to use the plural form.
thanks for catching the typo anything else you would like to check out mom. Lol
You made the same “typo” multiple times. Good job dodging the rest of what I said👍
yup. Got a friend on facebook that whenever she's going on a night out or has makeup on for some reason she'll post 20+ selfies easily. It's like "The makeup is on so bring on the likes"
Depends on their age, what they are posting and exactly how much is a lot
My thoughts are just want attention, bored maybe? But also "normal". There are a lot of women like this, so much that to me, it's "normal" for them.
Na just girls that want attention and who have awful photo taking skills.
Her hair is on point. Needy for validation, yes. Anyone who does it gives off that vibe.
Well for me it comes off as fun. It would love a girlfriend who posts a ton of pictures and we could post a ton together ^^
I would*
It really just depends on the caption of the post, and girls say nice things on other girls posts no matter what, a guy leaves a comment on another guys post saying “you an ugly ass n****
Let's just say I know someone that posts constant pics involving her very exposed cleavage. So yes.
Yes. I think it’s honestly annoying. Also I’d prefer to be in a relationship with someone privately. I don’t brag about a girl on my arm. That’s incredibly cruel to other people who are single.
I’m very descriptive in my answers. Sorry.
Depends on what they put on there. Your latest trip to Sydney? Fine. 98 percent of what I see are just their latest 176 photos of their bitch face or their expanded butt in tights. Over. And over. And over. And over.
Their just girls who are jealous of each other. I don't see them coming off as needy or needing validation.
I think it seems narcissistic but it depends on the content of the posts
It just makes you look like you don't care about what's going on around you cus you're sucked into your phone all day
Generally yes. Seeking attention, being addicted to that attention. If i see someone contantly on their phone i am disinterested immediately.
Validation mostly. Some people have a clear vanity complex, though.
If there's always clickbaity captions yes. If it's just genuinely posting pictures to post pictures, then no.
Not necessarily, it depends, maybe you have a lot of friends or followers who want to see updates from you and you feel like you have to post, but it's fun at the same time ✌
Honestly I do it because it's fun to make guys believe they can have me and plus I can get a lot of attention so who cares I'll just do what I want.
That is a good question. I guess it depends; if they constantly post selfies with some narcissistic caption, then my answer would be yes
It really depends what they're posting about on there, for some it could be none of that.
Yes if it's constant selfies, if they're with their friends doing something then they just come across as documenting their life cause they enjoy it which is better
They come off as self-involved more than anything. I'm very skeptical of girls who post constantly, especially when it's selfies in skimpy outfits or bikinis.
It depends on what they post. If it's 90% half naked pics, then I would think they are looking for attention. But if it's just regular pictures I wouldn't really see an issue.
Maybe they do it because their followers asked them to 🤷♀️
Sometimes yes. Maybe not in every circumstance but many times, to me, they do.
And much much more than "Needy" or "Seeking validation".
Especially when it's pictures like these, constantly, everyday.
No
Not to me
They like being open and doing whatever they want on their social media
If it’s all pictures of themselves yes. If it’s pictures of other things no
They just think they look good. That's when I post pictures, has nothing to do with validation.
if it was just looking good they look in a mirror. posting is public not private.
@UnaKaizen No. It's social media, people post when they're feeling good. Just like when you have a nice looking plate of food or go to a nice place, you take pictures and post. It's just the world we live in at the moment.
if they post a lot of photos of just themselves they come off as needed to be complimented all the time
We don't talk to those socio bitches where I come from unless you want some dome-quick with your spaghetti.
If it's about their self and me me me me blah blah blah then yes. But if it's other more inclusive then no, just that type
I don't see why men think girls post on social media because they need validation. Like I could be having a good hair or make up day and I'll take loads of photos and I'll upload them because I'm feeling great about myself, not because I'm needy.
Sure there sweetie.
What?
I don't like guys, so trust me, the many selfies I post on my social media are definitely to get a guys attention lmao.
I dont like women so whats your point... You're still doing it for attention.
I'm not psicologist yet but could be for seeking validation, for some kind of loneliness, social media addiction...
Yes we all no you have fashion and are beautiful what more do you want. I dislike those kind of girls.
Depends on what it is. Really all I post is my cat, college, or the occasional (yet shamelessly seeking validation) photo
I believe posting is a way of being social, it doesn't show any sort of need or seeking attention, you post what you like to share with others. It doesn't matter if a girl posts a lot or less, it's up to her I guess how much she wants to post.
i don't think so, they just wanna show they are better than other girls and have more fun. so i don't think they do it to attract men although sometimes it has that effect
Personally I think it depends on the types of posts and the captions. If it's a shit ton of selfies with small insignificant captions, then yes... to be honest it comes across as needy.
More like I see them as validated and having there needs met. Thus they don’t need me or want my attention.
Yes. I don't date women that are constantly on social media and snapchat everything. There are somethings that people need to learn to keep to themselves.
Girls are naturally attention whores so I'd say maybe, depends on what they post and how often it is
Baha, you surround yourself with shitty women then.
It's female nature, women in general like attention 😂
What women do you hang out with lmfao
In this day and age it’s the majority, but I really only like attention from my SO, and not in the “oh you’re pretty” compliment way. Or my parents to tell me they’re proud of me, but that’s about it. My best friend is the same way.
Your question was directed to women in general so my answer regards women in general, I'm not talking about you
It's also female nature to take a blanket statement of women personally 😂
It’s male nature to make blanket statements.
😂😂😂 you said girls, not you specifically. I don't know you well enough to talk about you
Good job dude😂
Maybe that’s your problem. You’re hanging around self absorbed girls, not women.
Women are pretty much older girls, they still post a crap ton of selfies and worry about their looks. There are women who don't care about that but I'm talking about "generally" (generally is the keyword) 👌
I find it’s just more unattractive ones.
I don't see a lot of ugly chicks with hundreds of photos on Instagram 🤷♂️
Well
The ugly ones use 239932 filters and angle it 90 degrees while imitating waterfowl.
You shouldn't speak so generally about ugly women 😜
Pffffft
The ugly social media crazed ones*
Kitty's got claws 😂
I self identify as an attack helicopter thank you very much
And yes I am salty
And nahhh, you can be 40 and still be a girl. Women have self respect, class, and know their worth.
"Woman - adult human female" 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Well I guess you could say that, never mind lol
You're one feisty attack helicopter then 😜
Model AH-64 Apache
Oh baby 😉
Well, it can never be because I'm an m1 Abrams tank 😩
For an ego boost. And do you post a lot yourself? Why? Why not?
No I don't. I mostly post videos of me cooking and talking, but my face isn't shown.
And what's the reason you prefer to keep your face hidden?
I don't want it to be all about me I guess. I feel awkward with my appearance being the center of attention
Would you find it strange that I keep my face hidden?
Not at all. I'd find it worth appreciation, as I'd find you someone who thinks skills and personality much more important than looks. So, seeking validation is not a purpose of your posting videos, is it?
Sometimes it really depends like if there posting tons of selfies a day I would say so.
Only if the posts are selfies. If they have content relevant to anything else this isn't the case.
