Yes, most of the time. Unless they have a life. Like posting their adventures. Even if they're in it. That doesn't make me think needy or needing validation. But a ton of bedroom/bathroom/car/etc photos of different expressions and duckface. Yeah its just wanting attention in my book.
We are living a very crazy internet world. I think a girl who does not post and have any social account , is seen as awkard. Crazy right? ! I was dating a guy. And he asked my instagram account. I said i am not comfortable. He said i am weird :)
These are girls that have nothing better to do with their time and just want the attention. Let's use my Facebook friends count as an example and the reason why I never bothered getting a Twitter account. I have probably 50 guy friends on there and the 150 girls added and I probably know 10 of those girls. Yes they accept my friend request even though they don't know me. To me it's just one big joke.
I think it really depends. I had a classmate who posted new pics everyday and changed her profile pic multiple times in a day (I don't know if she is doing it anymore). I have to admit that it was little bit annoying but I can't say that she was looking attention.
I post a lot and I’m private and I’m the only one person who can see it, snd many of my friends has admitted to having that as well, so I don’t think it has to be any of those. I've written a whole essay on this, and I came to the conclusion that it’s often about seeking validation
Some do look for validation, but I think it's more about the attention it could get more than anything else. It's like appearing on a famous Youtuber's channel, you're not looking to be validated, you just want the feeling that people are looking at you.
Needy for sure; nobody cares about what you ate for lunch, your new bikini, your dog, or any of your life really; only weddings, birthdays, babies, funerals, and holidays. If a girl posts beyond that, she comes off as self absorped or wanting attention because she doesn't feel noticed.
Depends on what it is. Can give a list what reasons it can be.
1. Atantion 2. Validation 3. Insecure 4. Addiction 5. Try to be one in the bunch 6. Think your gonna fill the empty void inside 7. Do the opposite what is suspected of you 8. Show you live a awesome life when you aren't 9. Live a life for other's 10. Create a illusion
Most of the times it has to to with not feeling so good on the inside (mental issues).
Not from what I've seen. I only have one friend on Facebook who posts a lot of pictures of herself, and she doesn't seem needy. She has a boyfriend. Girls can post pictures of themselves for a variety of reasons. Maybe they are visiting somewhere new and giving everyone a tour of the place with pictures. One of my females friends posted pictures of herself in Greece on Facebook.
Well that depends on what she is doing if it is just different places she has been or things she has seen she is just sharing her life. Now if it is sexual, Seductive and different clothes she changing her clothes often then it is not hard to see she is seeking validation of her looks, sexuality, and is coming off needy for attention. Have some private life it is Ok to be single. If it is she is just changing outfits and cute poses she seams to be seeking Validation.

A lot do. The ones who want attention post constantly pictures of their body. Now I post photography pictures of the moon, nature settings and beautiful rain pictures. None of my pictures have my body or face in them. Honestly I think it is sick they spend hours taking pictures of their body... a bit narcissistic

I'd say it depends, i think a lot of girls are looking for valuation through social media but at the end of the day social media isn't who makes them who they are. It's sad a lot of people not just girls live a social media life & they're on it day & night. There's so much more to life.
Id say it depends on what they post, if all what they post are revealing selfies of them where they ate obviously trying to impress others and get their approval then yeah, but if they post a lot about what its going on on their life or random moments and still post selfies its fine in my opinion and i guess it includes boys too
Comes off as pretentious, actually. If they post memes and funny shit, it comes off more human and quirky. If they post more selfies and make up tutorial links, it screams, "I know I'm beautiful but I just need 20,000 comments to reassure me."
Come as insecure. Or someone that needs to show to the world that they are enjoying life and to leave a mark that they did so much so that when they get old, they can look back and say, "I was awesome!". Then, these girls don't realize that social media "Likes" and "Followers" doesn't translate into people actually caring what you do.
Depends on what they post. If half of it is goFundMe's for some random local kid's medical bill with a starting donation by her of 10$, I'd think that's sweet, and that I'm not doing enough with my life.
Yes and no. No because that is just the culture today. Yes because who doesn't like flattering comments? If you're getting comments that you're cute, or hot af or whatever, that's going to boost your ego and self esteem.
It depends. I post it to express myself. Selfies is a form of art in my opinion. But when someone constantly takes selfies and posts it then I'm sure it is for attention. Most of the time it's just confidence.
Sometimes but not necessarily. It depends on the girl really. I post a lot on social media, but I just post jokes, memes or whatever I happen to be thinking at the moment. If people like what I have to say that's great, but if not who cares lol

Depends on the post. If it's constant selfies and status updates like: I'm so angry!! or I can't believe this happened to me!
Those are just fishing expeditions so people will ask what.
