There was this one girl who said "Even if my brother rapes a girl. I will try to save him. He is my brother ok. Not like I support what he did but I am his sister and have to try save him".

If my brother supposedly raped a woman, I wouldn't report him because the possibility exists that the woman could be lying. It's not uncommon for women to lie about rape and I would believe my brother over any random woman. However, the only way that I can know that the woman isn't lying is if I watched the rape happen. If I saw the rape happen, I still don't think that I could report him. Reporting a close family member is extremely hard to do, even if they did wrong. I probably would call him out, say that he's pathetic, maybe avoid talking to him for a while, and try to get him some help with his issues that cause him to be a rapist, but I can't put him in prison. All I can say is that it's up to the victim to press those charges against him, not me.

You sometimes save them by reporting them, I would still love my brother and forgive him.

I'm saying this from the viewpoint of someone that was sexually abused from the age of 5-7 and raped by my first boyfriend. Rape is one of the only sins in life where the victim feel like its there fault, thinking about how they could of stopped it or prevented it from happening, you feel dirty and used and some even wish to die.
