Why is my fwb’s hookup keeping tabs on me?

So I had a friends with benefits last year for months and we were also super close. Stuff ended pretty bad between us and 6 months later (which would be a couple days ago) we made up and decided to be friends again. No sex talk, nothing, just taking it slow.

During the time that we didn’t talk he hooked up with this girl. All his friends told me he still talked about me in a positive way despite seeing her.

Now that girl is viewing my stories. I don’t know if this guy has told her about me or heard it from one of his friends or she has feelings for him so she keeps tabs on who he follows and saw that he followed me and was curious? I’m scared that he’s shit talking me or something? She never looked at my stuff before he followed me and she doesn’t even know me.

She prolly heard about you from his friends. I mean since his friends told you a bunch, they could tell her a bunch too. She is either curious or she treats you as one of the enemies either way it's not good. That's why I set my social media to be very private

Ugh😩 I don’t want anybody to hate me lol. But yeah he did say a lot of good things about me that could unfortunately make another girl jealous I guess. I’d feel the same way tbh. But I just hope it isn’t him bad mouthing me to her or something because I’m sure her and him still talk which is totally fine it isn’t my business.

Ya try to focus on the relationship between you and him and avoid dramas / love triangles. He should shut up and not tell a bunch personal things to others.

That’s what he tends to do which pisses me off. We were super close and saw each other all the time and talked 24/7 so im not sure he’d actually tell her all that because it would hurt her and make her jealous. So it’s definitely their friends telling her things or as females usually do, keep tabs on the guys they’re seeing and check who he’s been following.

I used to have a similar situation the girl was curious and she even dug a bunch info of me from one of the old friends.. but whatever I am outta high school, tired of dealing with dramas, I shut my mouth and asked him to do it too. I am just super polite everytime I see her and kept seeing the guy. Then she got bored plus that guy and I start dating she gave up later
