It’s 98% true😂 and most 16 percent of blondes don’t have an IQ over 86. 90-125 is normal. So I would call 60% or so idiots. If this doesn’t apply to you, keep scrolling because it isn’t about you.

I think it is more of a running joke then people actually believing it. My 'type" is blonde with blue/green/grey eyes. I love them.

Same reason the "gingers have no souls" stereotype exists. Someone looked for a reason to pick on someone else and it caught on. Simple as that.

I think pop culture has to do with it. American Jewish had a huge influence over pop culture in its early stages. Perhaps it was a response to Nazis. A vendetta.

personally i believe it's because so many girls dye their hair blonde, which led to the stereotype of the shallow blonde.

I think this stereotype exists mainly due to the depiction of blonde characters as dumb in movies.
Most of them are projected as a very hot but very dumb girl🤷🏻‍♂️

I think it's a cute stereotype. I don't think anyone means it in a seriously negative way.
