I don't think that it is true, I know a lot of stupid people that aren't blond, so I dotn wknow why when people see a blonde girls say that she is stupid, it has no sense.

Prejudices. Stupidity is about mind and thoughts, not hair color. This may be due to Marilyn Monroe. Despite being seen as a stupid blonde in Marilyn Monroe, her IQ was very high. I like Marilyn Monroe. I like blondes. I also like blonde and blue eyes girls. But I don't like prejudices.
Genetics are strange. i know a girl that looks just like Blake lively, but brunette. like two drops of water on face features and body. The first time I saw her I was thinking "but I already know you"... I hope they will meet some day and take a pic together. That would be amazing.
as far as the question goes, it's a stereotype which started as a connection (true or false) and then psychology took over. It works that way. After one points out some sort of connection to you (no matter how true or false it is) you will tend to think back at that connection in the future when you notice a stupid person with blonde hair, ignoring the counter-examples, in this case of normal blonde people, because they don't stand out. You expect people to be able to hold a conversation, you find it normal and also you don't usually discuss rocket science in most day to day situations to the point where you go "my god that guy/girl is so intelligent". Most daily interactions allow for dumb to stand out more than the intelligent. So the moment you see a dumb person you will instantly and subconsciously think back at the "blonde=stupid" which someone pointed out and you'll go "oh, that's why" and think "it checks out now". You'll also repeat it, as people tend and like to take things as their own discovery/connection and so on. So it got carried around over time from one to another, to the point everyone see it as some sort of truth. Linked to this, might be the envy of others as blondes attract attention easier.
Other reason that crosses mind: maybe when the fad to dye hair blonde started, society frowned upon such behaviour and tried to combat that in an aggressive manner
Because blonds is the most pleasing hair color in a woman for a man. If a woman has nothing to impress a man with, most importantly because they are not smart enough, they will resort to compensate with the hair color that's considered the most attractive.
Natural blonds obviously do not fall in this category but they have become victims of this generalisation.
For that matter, any woman that colors her hair for attention is either compensating for something, or seeking attention, and/or has self-acceptance issues. If you love yourself the way you are why would you change yourself, right? If you thought you were good enough you would not feel the need to change anything.
When I look for a partner I am always looking for the naturals and tend to ignore the ones with the make-eu. If they really feel they need make-up chances are they are really ugly, but in any case, have self-acceptance issues. If they can't accept themselves how could they accept others. Plus no man wants a high-maintenance woman. Make-up and hair color are a waste of time, and a waste of money.
Be yourself. Accept yourself. Love yourself.

I can think of why two simple words Jessica Simpson. Her clothing company is partners with a failing business Macy's and she doesn't have the slightest clue how much financial trouble Macy's is in. But it's not only some blonds that are complete dingbats I know of a bankteller in one of my local branches who for the life of me haven't got the foggiest clue how she is doing her masters degree in college when every time I used to talk to her she seemed dumb as a post or as dumb as a bag of rocks and mind you she was a brunette. There's also a few receptionists at my doctors office his business partner was thinking with the head between his legs instead of the one on top of his neck when he hired the dingbat brunette receptionists he did. Every time I call I have to yell at the dimwits to put me on to my primary dr's receptionists. Then I used to know a p. o. s old horny bastard lawyer who was hitting on his receptionists who mind you were high out of their fucking minds on aderal which they snorted up in the women's bathroom while on break (which they flat out said they were going to do before snorting it with each other and actually took out the bottle while I was waiting to speak to another prick lawyer) and the other prick lawyer kept hitting on one of the dingbats while she was high as a fucking kite while in the middle of her job working mind you even though both were and one was a brunette the other was a redhead. Some male bosses higher women using the head between their legs instead of the ones attached to their necks which is only so they can fuck them after which makes for very poor business
I think it's because blondes were (I like to think they still are) often considered as very attractive mainly thanks to popular women like Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Grace Kelly, Kate Upton... It is also (in most cases) a very striking looking color, it draws the attention of not just men and let's be honest, many women think of other women as potentional competition, blondes had the "advantage" of getting a lot of attention from men. Darker haired women got jealous, made the jokes...
I do not wish to insult anyone of any hair color, I'm just saying what I think.
I personally am dark haired or medium brown sort of and went for blonde mainly because I wanted to look really light but some people think I only did it for attention. It's useless to argue with them.
I think hair color is meaningless, it's just what you like, not who you are, how smart you are etc.
Reason being for them being blessed in one way. Meaning blonde hair and almost always good looks. Then they don't take time 2 use thier brains. Basically they do stuff without thinking. Then when something happens they think it wasn't thier fault. They don't want 2 take responsibility for thier decision. What it is most of the time. U maybe blessed with looks but not the brain 2 go with it. An example how many people do it know that has blonde hair in Hollywood. That sometime or another don't do or act stupid.

Probably because there was a trend to be blonde at one time. Women may have thought of blonde hair like they do with big ass and boobs. Plus, being a lighter color draws more attention (crazy hair colors like blue may have not been a thing in the past). And a lot of these trend followers may not have been the most intelligent out there. I mean, generally people who are obsessed with attention may not be really little Einsteins. Having naturally blond hair or dying it blonde because you think it would look good doesn't make you stupid.
Most people do not think that but the stereotype comes from media mocking American culture. Being a female representing America would be some average white girl with blond hair and big boobs and no common sense. It’s Eurocentric beauty but with no brains because according to the world, Americans are stupid people.
Blonde girls are usually attractive people and they are given a confidence boost by people who praise them so they say whatever and get positive reactions compared to other people so that makes them more careless Because they never been told it's not cool or it's not okay so They Look Dumb in a Comparative way to others and not generally Dumb

You can trace a lot of the blonde stereotypes back to Anti-German propaganda in World War II. And, if you think it sucks for women to be stereotyped as dumb blondes, it equally sucks for many blonde men to be stereotyped as unmasculine and affeminate, and feeling like we can’t compete with the movies, and media brainwashing women to only want tall, dark, mysterious types that look like Johnny Depp.
The "Stupid Blonde" stereotype did NOT originate with natural blondes. It originated with dyed / bleached bottle blondes such as Marilyn Monroe (natural reddish-brown) & it is still predominantly fake blondes (such as the image) that play the part of stupid/dumb not natural blondes.
I know a lot of blond girls who look nice but they lack confidence - they try too hard to please others - and base their confidence on their looks - and bend over backwards for guys who don't respect them instead of trying to set limits on what kind of person can talk to them what type of treatment they allow men to have in their lives - I think that is where the stereotype comes from
Because blonde hair is almost always just bleached, natural blonde hair is very rare, and obvious. Hair dyeing could be seen as spending too much effort on one's appearance, or as changing one's appearance in a major way to look more attractive.
And that extra emphasis on one's looks may get interpreted by others as a more vapid attitude that values other aspects, such as personality and intelligence, less than "beauty".
hmmm... I think, the intelligence bell curve of blondes is flatter than by brunette girls. This means there are lot of stupid blondes but there is an equivalent amount on other end of spectrum with very smart individuals. Usually those stupid ones are generally more noticeable than those who are really smart.
This really only applies as a stereotype if they're American. I've also seen a lot of blonde girls act stupid, but I think it's really because they expect others to see them that way or are afraid of something whatever that may be instead of actually being stupid.
Perky blonde girls are usually seens as ditzy but it is all about how they carry themself. Someone like Blake Lively comes across as this sexy, classy, and extremely intelligent woman. She doesn't seem like just a pretty face at all. There is a seriousness and deep nature to her. It is all about how a girl acts. Does she act like a smart, funny, and elegant lady. Or does she act like a wild party girl who is throwing her titties on guys laps?

I make blonde jokes all the time, being a natural blonde, when I mess up or something goes wrong. I don't know why it exists, but I know plenty of non blondes that would make great blondes to conform to this stereotype.
That is just a silly stereotype that no one really takes seriously. At leat people with half a brain don't. My wife is blonde and she is a financial manager in a big company. A dumb women couldn't do that. I will deny to admit this to the day I die but... She is more intelligent than me.
Honestly I read once that blond people are more intelligent (google it, I'm not a scientist/biologist) and that in the past men would get rejected more by blonds so this "blonds are dumb" stereotype became a thing. As shit like this usually does. Ya know.

The thing that never made sense to me is the fact that some women will torture them selves to become blonde when at least for me, i dont like blonde hair on a woman.. red hair brown hair, black hair all good but i dont find blonde attractive.
There isn't anything wrong with blondes, and there are definitely beautiful blondes, and honestly if my wife were blonde I wouldn't love her any less..

I had a friend in high school and she was the smart person I knew. She got straight A's on everything she took. I never though of blondes as dumb, before I met her, but after meeting her I didn't understand why other people though blondes were dumb.
It goes under the idea that a blond looks so attractive that he/she doesn't need any brains to get through life, as everything is just handed to them. I just tell myself, "Yeah, but blond guys almost ALWAYS go bald."
The only stupid people are people making such stupid stereotypes. Stereotypes are born from generalizing the whole group with the actions of a few, and I can't think of many things more stupid than that.
The notion thar blondws are stupid is itself stupid. The hair colour has nothing to do with intellect. Blondes are beautiful and just attractive as smart as any other hair colour women
Some people buy way too much into what is portrayed in the media, and the media often seems to always portray certain people in certain ways, often times out of a lack of originality, including the whole "dumb blonde" stereotype.
I think it may be because of Hollywood portrayal and media representation. If you notice for example with adverts for drug addiction help, domestic abuse help and such they often have some degenerate looking European on the advert even though statistically more African descendants fall victim to rape and drug addiction than White. The vermin who run Hollywood, Social Media and Advertising wish to delegate those of European descent.
Tbh I just think it has to do with the western ideal. Blonde people are considered highly attractive and you can’t be attractive and smart, is what people think.
