What does it mean if a girl looks over her shoulder looking at me without smiling?

It all started last week when she would walk to the bin and as she walked back to hrmer group take a quick look at me, but if I caught her she would look away. Once she and her friends looked over their shoulders and looked at me. Then yesterday she looked over her shoulder by using both a side eye glance and turning her head to fully face my direction at times. Everytime I made eye contact with her she would look away.

Maybe she is just making sure your at a safe distance. Maybe she is sending you a message she wants you to talk to her. Have you ever tried to have a conversation with her? If she is someone you would like to get to know a little just start a conversation. I know it's not always easy when we're young, but believe me it's not as hard as it may seem.
