We met on a dating app and after one week of chatting I asked her to meet, she said that now she's busy but soon she'll tell me when we'll hang out.

Today I texted her and she replied as after 10 hours saying: "Sorry I didn't see your message, I was out with my boyfriend."

I don't understand, why was she on the dating app then?
Could it be that she's trying to make me jealous by saying that kinda thing and giving late replies?

If a girl lies about having a boyfriend, she's trying to say she is unavailable, which means she saying she can't be in a relationship with you, as she is taken.
