Do you like being called a "Girl" or a "Woman" better?

I know some girls who like being called a Woman as it sounds more independent, but on the other note I know other girls who don't like being called a Woman as they think it sounds old or other reasons. But what do you think?

I think it's weird that as a society we've made it acceptable to call grown women girls... But we don't really call adult men, boys.

Men are collectively called boys all the time.

We also call each other girl more than men do.

Sure we use terms like "hanging with the girls/boys" but on the street if someone says "that boy over there" are you expecting to see a child not an adult?

This site is an example "girls ask guys". It's not girls ask boys.

It doesn't matter who does it more, I just think that it's weird and I'm actively trying to stop calling grown women, girls.
