Girls, you accept the date but avoid giving a phone number?

Why are some of you girls like that? The girl started following me first because she likes how I look, I returned following, and she doesn't follow many people, so not adding any handsome dude. So I started the conversation. She agreed to meet me for a coffee but avoid giving her a number as if I haven't asked that. From my experience, the vast majority of interested girls will give their number with no problem... why is it so hard with some other girls? I mean, obviously, she doesn't think that I'm a maniac cause we have a mutual friend, plus she likes how I look.

Why would a girl not give you her phone number and yet accept having coffee date with you. Probably because she does not want someone else to see your number pop up on her phone.

I always wondered the same. From my experience, around 90% of girls will give their number if they agree to go on a date, but around 10% of them will not. Supposedly, they are not in a rush to give their phone number right away cause if it turns out that a guy is a creep or weirdo on a date, it is way easier for them to block you on Instagram or Facebook than for them to have your number still, and possibly harass you more.
