Girls, whats your take on wrestling?

If you had a boyfriend or a husband or a guy you were dating who was into wrestling would that bother you? Some girls find WWE wrestling or other wrestling products as corny or stupid. As my username and profile pic shows, yes I am a wrestling fan lol.

I would probably not date a person that is so much into violence in the first place.

I know that in the US, violence is part of the culture of this country and that belligerence is the second nature of its citizens. Being a rather peaceful person myself, I don't see how a relation with a person that is violent by nature could be positive in any way.

Not only is this wresting business totally corny but the display of violence is something that makes me cringe. I don't think that we would have a harmonious relation, knowing that my partner could, at any time, burst out in a violent attack.

I will gladly pass and leave my place to those that are violent and see violence as normal.

You do know wrestling is scripted right? It's more based on showmanship and a men's soap opera. The reason why guys are into things that involve violence is because men have to be the one's who also fight in wars. Women aren't called to the battle fields of world wars or civil wars that's just reality. It's fine if you think wrestling is corny but remember Vince McMahon is a billionaire. WrestleMania is an event watched by millions world wide and celebrities help endorse it, to each their own.

nah, although yes that is wrestling on a more technical level. But I don't know I just find that wrestling especially in the 1990s/mid 2000s was more catered to sex appeal of beautiful women, male related humour, cool personas and gimmicks. I mean two names that pop up that people are aware of are The Rock and John Cena, careers that started in the WWF now WWE. I always find that girls never really cared for wrestling unless the girl finds a guy hot or sexy and he's all buffed and sweaty with this pretty boy look (ie: Shawn Michaels).

I'll be honest, I never really cared much about it. But if my boyfriend happens to be a fan, I'd ask him to tell me more about it and get me familiar with that world of WWE

I mean thats nice of you, im sure you want a guy to take an interest he may not know of. But fair warning if a guy you were with got you into wrestling and you're watching all these moves. A guy might tell you to "try them out on him".
