Girls, Is she testing me? she’s pissing me off?

So my crush went on a date with me.

We had a blast, asked questions, she bought me a drink. (She’s 23 I’m 29) and got to know her and what she does. I could easily tell we were into each other.

After that, we went to a diner where I beat her in a staring contest and she had to pay for food lol. Anyway, we went there and I talked about what I do and let her in on some cool secrets. I knew she liked me and I even was funny and cocky about it.

All the while I noticed she was blushing and she got really red and got playful. I held her hands a couple of times and she never pulled away and made some funny jokes. We stayed there for a long time and we stared at each other and smiled while poking at her, it’s was 1am so we both ended it and she paid.

I walked out holding hands to her car. I then told her for the next date and she decided to test me by saying she was busy for the next couple of weekends but then I said weekdays? She said possibly so we agreed to doing Wednesday but she wasn’t sure so I set it for Tuesday and we made a fun challenge out of it. She then told me to give her music recommendations so I did then she implied that she play her music for Tuesday and we hugged and I held her then we left.

Next day I texted her being funny and flirty saying I had a great time and that Tuesday. She hearted my text 3 hours later but no response and watched my stories.

Today I bumped into her at the gym and she sees me so she goes up to her guy friend and they start talking in front of me while she glances over. I saw and got a little annoyed.

She walks over and talks to me and I joke with her about our date tomorrow and she says she won’t be able to make it because she’ll be donating blood at a drive tomorrow and will be exhausted. I tested her by asking about a new day and she says she won’t be able to this week but next week she can and she’ll let me know, she promises.

What gives for doing that, is she testing me? I’m going to ignore her lol

Okay so I know we’re trying to be progressive in society and all that when it comes to who pays for what and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, you sort of look like a cheap date, if she’s old fashioned. I’m sorry to say it! A lot of women are just used to the guy paying for this or that on first dates, it’s like traditional. Like you could’ve at least insisted on paying for the other. If she bought the drinks then you could’ve split dinner, especially if it was you who asked her out (assuming you did, it’s cool if you didn’t). Of course I could be wrong, that is just the part I noticed and cringed a bit, unfortunately. Who knows, maybe you guys had a nice time but ultimately she doesn’t see things progressing (which of course she should just tell you, but may just be too nice). Regardless, since you’ve already attempted twice to hang out again and she rejected it, allow her to approach and make a plan. Otherwise, just don’t take it too personally and move on.

I paid for bowling which was fiver hours then attempted to pay for the drinks but she already paid and stopped me then we played a game out of who’s paying for food, I also didn’t wanted to be taken advantage of for paying all of a date and it not working out. It’s quite common now with dating

I know it’s common, which is why I started my statement by addressing that. I’m glad you mentioned that you did paid for the bowling, because not paying for anything looked sort of weird lol. So if that aspect is off the table, then maybe the issue is what I suggested secondly, and she ultimately decided you two weren’t a good fit. I know it’s confusing, because you had a great time while out. It’s not even to say that she didn’t enjoy herself, because it truly sounds like she did. But for all you know, the minute she got home and had some alone time, she made the decision that you weren’t a good fit. She may have even felt this during the date, but you two were having genuine fun so she wasn’t going to cut it short. These are only my suggestions based off what myself and friends of mine have done when it comes to first dates, even second ones. Ultimately though, let her reach out, since you have tried to arrange something twice and she’s found a way out of it. If she asks you to do something, then you are in the clear. But I wouldn’t ask again if I were you, because you are not desperate for a date and you don’t want her to perceive you as such.

I don't know what's the deal, as someone else said she might be playing hard to get Orr she might have found a new man to date Orr she's just testing the waters with you.. as you said. Whatever it is, the ball is in her court now, so don't plan for another date, let her do the planning and all. If she doesn't, then that's your clue to move on.

She's not interested. Sorry. I've been around the block a time or two and know if a girl is interested they tend not to play games. She would have been texting you none stop and made sure to have a for sure second date planned.
