Girls, Is it wrong for a man not to want to be a woman's protector?

TomGarand
A lot of women want to feel protected by a strong man, and I can understand why. Before you comment, BE HONEST, because I want to get in a relationship one day, and I need legit advice.

For me, there are two problems. For one, I don't enjoy being a protector.

A lot of men like to protect women or open jars, lift heavy things, or kill bugs for them. Why? Because it makes them feel useful and needed. But for me, a woman seeing me as her knight in shining armor does not boost my ego. What good is her looking up to me as her hero if I can't enjoy it?

Secondly, what I find attractive in women is physical strength and capability. I love when a women have muscle, can play sports, can fight well/do martial arts, are skilled weaponry, et cetera.

Basically, my type is strong women who can protect THEMSELVES.

So I need HONEST advice from you ladies. Should I want to be that strong, masculine protector for a woman before I try to date?

Or are there still a good chunk of women who don't really want/need that for themselves, like my type?
