All my life i was raised around woman, by my mother ( whom her and I are best friends), families roommates, had female roommates, and plenty of friends.
The obvious question of 39 years... why woman call " Cute " what is actually sexy or very sexy?
Example : when shopping with friends, roommates, or dance class... they will check out whats "CUTE" and come back in tube-top, shirt to the thigh ( possibly pantiless), or as little clothing as possible and walk up to you say : " Isn't this the cuttest thing ever?" And a natural male response visually is : Cute? Umm your not talking, little sister, puppy dog cute right? Thats F'ing Hot!!! I'd kill my little sister if I caught her in that.
And obviously all woman know this, when majority of woman mature young emotionally and psychologically younger. Especially when you ladies wrestle with putting on latex like, spandex, paint for pants leggings and turn arou nd in a body length mirror and look at your 90% bare exposed as# and say once again " cute".
Any ladies wanna come clean?

The word “cute” (similar to the word “nice guy”) is purposely ambiguos.
Women might call a somewhat unattractive guy “cute” if he’s funny or has some intriguing personality. OR they might find a guy very attractive and sexy but don’t want to let the cat out of the bag. The word “cute” is a safe phrase for them.
Honestly this discretion very annoying and creates ton of unnecessary guess work for guys. Getting called “cute” from an attractive girl made me very perplexed in the past. I have to pay attention to her body language, tone of voice and actions to understand what she really means. It’s not bad but it can get my hopes up.
It sucks when I think she’s really interested but in reality she’s not. I got to deal with the disappointment if she turns down a date or if the date happens she turns down my advances. She just said “cute” to be nice or to complement a “cute” action I did.
"Cute" and Sexy" can be both the same thing and different. It's all in the eye of the beholder or wearer as the case may be. One girl can project "cute" while a different girl wearing the same outfit will project sexy and a third girl might project slutty.
This dichotomy has existed from time immemorial to the present day, and it will exist in the future also. All women understand this perfectly, and men NEVER will! Sorry guys...

Well, you know what cute means? "Attractive in a pretty or endearing way." It does not exclude sexual attractiveness. It just doesn't require it. A kitten and a sexy dress can both be attractive in a pretty way. A hot man and a baby can both be attractive in an endearing way.
We aren't being sneaky or anything. We're just calling it as we see it.

As for your previous point, yes some woman do mean something is cute, and their is no hidden agenda so agreed. And yet thats the majority and not the minority in this hyper sexualized society today.
For the record, I have 3 sons, close female friends, woman roommates. I have no issue with woman, but double agendas, lies, and hypocrisy.
