What do women think about the class clown type guy?

I don't really mean he makes an ass out of himself, I mean he occasionally interjects with something really funny to say about the lecture that makes the class laugh, including the professor. And, suppose he's pretty decent looking as well. I've been told by a few people that girls usually secretly crush on that guy, is this true ladies? And why? Would it cause you to want to get to know him more?

Also take into consideration that it isn't common occurrence and that he doesn't interrupt just for the sake of interrupting (because believe me, I've been stuck in a class with that type and omg you just want to murder them), I'm talking about a legitimately funny joke, that you even find yourself laughing at.

I suppose if you use the term "class clown," all the haters spring forth, but basically I'm just referring to the funny guy in class, since apparently that was not obvious in the question description.

I'm a guy, but I'm gonna say what I think of them anyway. I think class clown type guys treat life like a joke. They are obnoxious and won't get anywhere in life after school. It's OK to be 'funny', but there is a fine line between being the class clown and being funny. A class clown is a typical moron who can't come up with funny jokes, so makes simple comments someone with a mind of a chimp can come up with about things going on in the class, or what someone has done to humiliate them. People in the class find them funny, only the people smart enough realize what they said wasn't even witty at all.

If a class clown says anything towards me, I'll just give them a cold stare, as if I'm saying "I can see through your sh*tty jokes, now shut the f*** up". They shut up almost instantly. Class clowns feed their ego with peoples reactions, all you have to do is give them nothing and let them starve.

A class clown might be a moron I can admit that, if she does nothing but make an ass out of himself. However, some people just make hilarious comments now and then, and it takes intelligence to be funny, at least most people I know that are hilarious are also extremely intelligent. So no, I don't think just anyone with the mind of a chimp can make an entire class laugh.

class clowns are morons. I crack jokes 24/7 but I stopped cracking jokes in class after grade 10. How immature is that? I think class clowns after grade 10 are just losers looking for attention and are not funny. If you are talking about someone who makes a joke on occasion, that's not a class clown at all. Every one makes jokes, even profs.
